Ezekiel 30

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	1 La palabra de Yahveh me fue dirigida en estos términos:
2 'Son of man, prophesy and say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: Howl: Disaster day!	2 Hijo de hombre, profetiza y di: Así dice el Señor Yahveh: Gemid: «¡Ah, el día aquel!»
3 For the day is near, the day of Yahweh is near; it wil be a day dark with cloud, a time of doom for thenations.	3 Porque está cercano el día, está cercano el día de Yahveh, día cargado de nubarrones, la hora de las naciones será.
4 "The sword wil come on Egypt, and anguish on the country of Cush when the slaughtered fal inEgypt, when her riches are carried away and her foundations are destroyed.	4 Vendrá la espada sobre Egipto, cundirá el pánico en Kus, cuando las víctimas caigan en Egipto, cuando sean saqueadas sus riquezas y sus cimientos derruidos.

6 "Yahweh says this: "The supports of Egypt wil fall; the pride of her strength wil crumble; they will fal by the sword from Migdol to Syene -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	6 Así dice Yahveh: Caerán los apoyos de Egipto, se desplomará el orgullo de su fuerza; desde Migdol a Siene, caerán todos a espada, oráculo del Señor Yahveh.

11 He and his people, the most barbarous of nations, wil be brought to ravage the country. They wildraw the sword against Egypt and fil the country with corpses.	11 El, y su pueblo con él, la más bárbara de las naciones, serán enviados a asolar el país. Desenvainarán la espada contra Egipto, y llenarán el país de víctimas.
12 I shal dry up the courses of the Nile and sel the country to the wicked. I shal lay the whole countrywaste and everything in it, at the hand of foreigners. I, Yahweh, have spoken.	12 Yo dejaré secos los Nilos, y venderé el país en manos de malvados. Devastaré el país y todo lo que encierra, por mano de extranjeros. Yo, Yahveh, he hablado.
13 "The Lord Yahweh says this: I shall destroy the foul idols and take the false gods away from Noph.Egypt wil be left without a ruler. I shall spread fear through Egypt.	13 Así dice el Señor Yahveh: Haré desaparecer las basuras, y pondré fin a los falsos dioses de Nof. No habrá más príncipes en Egipto, y yo sembraré el terror en el país de Egipto.
14 I shal lay Pathros waste, set Zoan on fire, inflict my punishments on No.	14 Devastaré Patrós, prenderé fuego a Soán, haré justicia de No.
15 I shal vent my fury on Sin, the bastion of Egypt; I shall wipe out the throngs of No.	15 Derramaré mi furor en Sin, la fortaleza de Egipto, exterminaré la multitud de No.
16 I shal set fire to Egypt; Sin will be seized with convulsions; a breach wil be opened at No and thewaters flood out.	16 Prenderé fuego a Egipto. Sin se retorcerá de dolor, en No se abrirá brecha y cundirán las aguas.
17 The young men of On and Pi-Beseth wil fal by the sword and the cities themselves go into captivity.	17 Los jóvenes de On y de Pi Béset caerán a espada, y las ciudades mismas partirán al cautiverio.
18 At Tahpanhes day will turn to darkness when I shatter the sceptres of Egypt there, when the pride ofher strength ceases. 19 Such wil be the punishments I inflict on Egypt. And they wil know that I am Yahweh." '	19 Así haré justicia de Egipto, y se sabrá que yo soy Yahveh.
20 In the eleventh year, on the seventh day of the first month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to meas fol ows,	20 El año undécimo, el día siete del primer mes, la palabra de Yahveh me fue dirigida en estos términos:
21 'Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; you can see that no one has dressedhis wound by applying remedies to it, by bandaging it and by dressing it, to make it strong enough to wield thesword.	21 Hijo de hombre, yo he roto el brazo de Faraón, rey de Egipto, y he aquí que nadie ha curado su herida aplicándole medicamentos y vendas para curarle, de modo que recobre el vigor para empuñar la espada.
22 This being so, the Lord Yahweh says this, "Look, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt; I shal breakhis arms, the sound one and the broken one, and make the sword drop from his hand.	22 Por eso, así dice el Señor Yahveh: Aquí estoy yo contra Faraón, rey de Egipto; quebraré sus brazos, el que está sano y el que está roto, y haré que la espada caiga de su mano.
23 I shal scatter Egypt among the nations and disperse it among the countries.	23 Dispersaré a Egipto entre las naciones, lo esparciré por los países.
24 I shal strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon and put my sword in his hand. I shal breakPharaoh's arms and, confronted with his enemy, he wil groan like a dying man.	24 Robusteceré los brazos del rey de Babilonia, pondré mi espada en su mano y romperé los brazos de Faraón, que lanzará ante él gemidos de víctima.
25 I shal strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh wil fall. And they wilknow that I am Yahweh, when I put my sword into the hands of the king of Babylon and he wields it againstEgypt.	25 Robusteceré los brazos del rey de Babilonia, y los brazos de Faraón desmayarán. Y se sabrá que yo soy Yahveh, cuando pongo mi espada en la mano del rey de Babilonia y él la esgrima contra el país de Egipto.
26 I shal scatter Egypt among the nations and disperse it among the countries; and they wil know that Iam Yahweh." '	26 Dispersaré a Egipto entre las naciones, lo esparciré por los países; y se sabrá que yo soy Yahveh.
