1 Unto the end, for the winepresses, a psalm for the sons of Core.	1 - Al corifeo. Salmo dei figliuoli di Core.
2 How lovely are thy tabernacles, O Lord of host!	2 Hai benedetto, o Signore, la tua terra, hai tolto via la schiavitù di Giacobbe.
3 my soul longeth and fainteth for the courts of the Lord. My heart and my flesh have rejoiced in the living God.	3 Hai rimesso l'iniquità del tuo popolo, hai ricoperto tutti i loro peccati.
4 For the sparrow hath found herself a house, and the turtle a nest for herself where she may lay her young ones: Thy altars, O Lord of hosts, my king and my God.	4 Hai calmato ogni tua ira, ti sei rimosso dal furor del tuo sdegno.
5 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house, O Lord: they shall praise thee for ever and ever.	5 Rialzaci, o Dio della nostra salvezza, e allontana l'ira tua da noi.
6 Blessed is the man whose help is from thee: in his heart he hath disposed to ascend by steps,	6 Sarai tu adirato con noi in eterno? prolungherai l'ira tua di generazione in generazione?
7 in the vale of tears, in the place which be hath set.	7 [No], o Dio, [ma] tornerai a vivificarci, e il tuo popolo s'allieterà in te.
8 For the lawgiver shall give a blessing, they shall go from virtue to virtue: the God of gods shall be seen in Sion.	8 Mostraci, o Signore, la tua clemenza, e la tua salvezza concedi a noi.
9 O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob.	9 Ascolterò ciò che parla in me il Signore Iddio: perchè parla di pace al suo popolo e ai suoi santi e a coloro che rientrano in se stessi.
10 Behold, O God our protector: and look on the face of thy Christ.	10 Per certo è vicina a quei che lo temono la sua salvezza. Sicchè abiti [di nuovo] la gloria [di Dio] nella nostra terra.
11 For better is one day in thy courts above thousands. I have chosen to be an abject in the house of my God, rather than to dwell in the tabernacles of sinners.	11 La clemenza e la fedeltà si vanno incontro, la giustizia e la pace si baciano.
12 For God loveth mercy and truth: the Lord will give grace and glory.	12 La fedeltà spunta su dalla terra, e la giustizia guarda giù dal cielo.
13 He will not deprive of good things them that walk in innocence : O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.	13 Sì, il Signore largirà la bontàe la terra nostra produrrà il suo frutto.
	14 La giustizia davanti a lui camminerà, e guiderà per la via i suoi passi.
