1 Unto the end, a psalm for David. Judge me, O Lord, for I have walked in my innocence: and I have put my trust in the Lord, and shall not be weakened.	1 Von David.Schaffe mir Recht, o HERR,denn ich bin gewandelt in meiner Unschuldund habe vertraut auf den HERRN ohne Wanken!
2 Prove me, O Lord, and try me; burn my reins and my heart.	2 Prüfe mich, HERR, und erprobe mich:meine Nieren und mein Herz sind geläutert!
3 For thy mercy is before my eyes; and I am well pleased with thy truth.	3 Denn deine Gnade steht mir vor Augen,und ich wandle in deiner Wahrheit (oder: in der Treue gegen dich).
4 I have not sat with the council of vanity: neither will I go in with the doers of unjust things.	4 Ich sitze nicht bei falschen Menschenund verkehre nicht mit hinterlistigen Leuten;
5 I have hated the assembly of the malignant; and with the wicked I will not sit.	5 ich meide die Versammlung der Missetäterund halte mich nicht zu den Gottlosen;
6 I will wash my hands among the innocent; and will compass thy altar, O Lord:	6 ich wasche in Unschuld meine Händeund schreite so um deinen Altar, o HERR,
7 That I may hear the voice of thy praise: and tell of all thy wondrous works.	7 daß ich laut ein Danklied erschallen lasseund alle deine Wundertaten verkünde.
8 I have loved, O Lord, the beauty of thy house; and the place where thy glory dwelleth.	8 O HERR, ich habe lieb die Stätte deines Hausesund den Ort, wo deine Herrlichkeit wohnt.
9 Take not away my soul, O God, with the wicked: nor my life with bloody men:	9 Raffe nicht weg meine Seele mit den (Seelen der) Sünder,noch mein Leben mit dem der Mordgesellen,
10 In whose hands are iniquities: their right hand is filled with gifts.	10 an deren Händen Verbrechen klebenund deren Rechte gefüllt ist mit Bestechung!
11 But as for me, I have walked in my innocence: redeem me, and have mercy on me.	11 Ich aber wandle in meiner Unschuld:erlöse mich, HERR, und sei mir gnädig!
12 My foot hath stood in the direct way: in the churches I will bless thee, O Lord.	12 Mein Fuß steht fest auf ebenem Plan (oder: auf ebener Bahn):in Versammlungen will ich preisen den HERRN.
