| 12 O ouvido que ouve e o olho que vê, ambas estas coisas fez o Senhor. | 12 The ear that hears, and the eye that sees-- the LORD has made them both. |
| 13 Não queiras ser amigo do sono, para que a pobreza te não oprima; abre os teus olhos (sê diligente), e terás pão em abundância. | 13 Love not sleep, lest you be reduced to poverty; eyes wide open mean abundant food. |

| 24 Os passos do homem são dirigidos pelo Senhor: mas que homem pode compreender o seu próprio destino? | 24 Man's steps are from the LORD; how, then, can a man understand his way? |
