Beseleel, pois, e Ooliab, e todos os homens hábeis, a quem o Senhor deu habilidade e inteligência para saberem fazer com arte o que era necessário para o uso do santuário, executaram o que o Senhor tinha mandado.1 Bezalel and Oholiab and every able man in whom the LORD has put ability and intelligence to know how to do any work in the construction of the sanctuary shall work in accordance with all that the LORD has commanded."
Moisés tendo-os chamado, e igualmente todos os homens hábeis, a quem o Senhor tinha dado habilidade, e que espontaneamente se tinham oferecido para trabalhar nestas obras,2 And Moses called Bezalel and Oholiab and every able man in whose mind the LORD had put ability, every one whose heart stirred him up to come to do the work;
entregou-lhes todas as ofertas dos filhos de Israel. Enquanto eles se empregavam, diligentes, no trabalho, todos os dias pela manhã o povo oferecia donativos voluntários,3 and they received from Moses all the freewill offering which the people of Israel had brought for doing the work on the sanctuary. They still kept bringing him freewill offerings every morning,
pelo que os artistas foram obrigados a ir4 so that all the able men who were doing every sort of task on the sanctuary came, each from the task that he was doing,
dizer a Moisés: O povo oferece mais do que é necessário.5 and said to Moses, "The people bring much more than enough for doing the work which the LORD has commanded us to do."
Mandou, pois, Moisés que um pregoeiro gritasse: Nenhum homem, nem mulher, ofereça mais nada para a obra do santuário. Assim se deixou de oferecer donativos,6 So Moses gave command, and word was proclaimed throughout the camp, "Let neither man nor woman do anything more for the offering for the sanctuary." So the people were restrained from bringing;
porque o que tinha sido oferecido bastava e superabundava.7 for the stuff they had was sufficient to do all the work, and more.
Todos os homens hábeis se deram ao trabalho para concluirem a obra do tabernáculo, dez cortinas de linho fino retorcido, de púrpura violácea, escarlate é carmesim, com variedade de bondados e de cores.8 And all the able men among the workmen made the tabernacle with ten curtains; they were made of fine twined linen and blue and purple and scarlet stuff, with cherubim skillfully worked.
The length of each curtain was twenty-eight cubits, and the breadth of each curtain four cubits; all the curtains had the same measure.
And he coupled five curtains to one another, and the other five curtains he coupled to one another.
Fez também umas presilhas de púrpura violácea na ourela duma cortina de um e de outro lado, e o mesmo na ourela da outra cortina,11 And he made loops of blue on the edge of the outmost curtain of the first set; likewise he made them on the edge of the outmost curtain of the second set;
de modo que as presilhas correspondessem umas ás outras, e se unissem entre si.12 he made fifty loops on the one curtain, and he made fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that was in the second set; the loops were opposite one another.
And he made fifty clasps of gold, and coupled the curtains one to the other with clasps; so the tabernacle was one whole.
Fez também onze cobertas de pêlos de cabra para cobrir o tecto do tabernáculo.14 He also made curtains of goats' hair for a tent over the tabernacle; he made eleven curtains.
Uma destas cobertas tinha trinta côvados de comprido e quatro de largo: todas elas tinham a mesma medida.15 The length of each curtain was thirty cubits, and the breadth of each curtain four cubits; the eleven curtains had the same measure.
Destas, uniu cinco de uma banda e seis da outra.16 He coupled five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves.
And he made fifty loops on the edge of the outmost curtain of the one set, and fifty loops on the edge of the other connecting curtain.
And he made fifty clasps of bronze to couple the tent together that it might be one whole.
And he made for the tent a covering of tanned rams' skins and goatskins.
Fez também de acácia as tábuas do tabernáculo para estarem ao alto.20 Then he made the upright frames for the tabernacle of acacia wood.
O comprimento duma tábua era de dez côvados, e a largura de côvado e meio.21 Ten cubits was the length of a frame, and a cubit and a half the breadth of each frame.
Each frame had two tenons, for fitting together; he did this for all the frames of the tabernacle.
das quais vinte estavam na parte do meio-dia, que olha para o austro,23 The frames for the tabernacle he made thus: twenty frames for the south side;
com quarenta bases de prata. Punham-se duas bases debaixo de uma tábua nas suas duas esquinas, onde terminam as ensambladuras dos lados.24 and he made forty bases of silver under the twenty frames, two bases under one frame for its two tenons, and two bases under another frame for its two tenons.
Para a parte do tabernáculo que olha para o aquilão, fez vinte tábuas,25 And for the second side of the tabernacle, on the north side, he made twenty frames
com quarenta bases de prata, duas bases para cada tábua.26 and their forty bases of silver, two bases under one frame and two bases under another frame.
Para o ocidente, isto é, para aquela parte do tabernáculo que olha para o mar, fez seis tábuas,27 And for the rear of the tabernacle westward he made six frames.
e outras duas para cada ângulo do tabernáculo, no fundo dele,28 And he made two frames for corners of the tabernacle in the rear.
And they were separate beneath, but joined at the top, at the first ring; he made two of them thus, for the two corners.
There were eight frames with their bases of silver: sixteen bases, under every frame two bases.
Fez também cinco barrotes de acácia, para ajustar as tábuas de um lado do tabernáculo;31 And he made bars of acacia wood, five for the frames of the one side of the tabernacle,
outros cinco para ajustar as tábuas do outro lado; além destes, outros cinco barrotes ao lado ocidental do tabernáculo (voltado) para o mar.32 and five bars for the frames of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the frames of the tabernacle at the rear westward.
And he made the middle bar to pass through from end to end halfway up the frames.
And he overlaid the frames with gold, and made their rings of gold for holders for the bars, and overlaid the bars with gold.
And he made the veil of blue and purple and scarlet stuff and fine twined linen; with cherubim skillfully worked he made it.
And for it he made four pillars of acacia, and overlaid them with gold; their hooks were of gold, and he cast for them four bases of silver.
Fez também para a entrada do tabernáculo um véu de púrpura violácea e escarlate e carmesim, e de linho fino retorcido, com trabalhos de recamo.37 He also made a screen for the door of the tent, of blue and purple and scarlet stuff and fine twined linen, embroidered with needlework;
Para ele se fizeram cinco colunas com seus capitéis, as quais cobriu de ouro, sendo as suas bases de bronze.38 and its five pillars with their hooks. He overlaid their capitals, and their fillets were of gold, but their five bases were of bronze.
