1 Os filhos de Aarão foram repartidos nestas classes (que se vão enumerar). Os filhos de Aarão foram: Nadab, Ablu, Eleazar e Itamar.	1 The divisions of the sons of Aaron were these. The sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
2 Nadab e Ablu morreram antes de seu pai, sem deixar filhos; Eleazar e Itamar exerceram as funções do sacerdócio.	2 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children, so Eleazar and Ithamar became the priests.
3 Davide repartiu os filhos de Aarão, isto é, Sadoc dos filhos de Eleazar, Abimelec dos filhos de Itamar, em turnos para o serviço.	3 With the help of Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, David organized them according to the appointed duties in their service.
4 Porém achou-se que entre os chefes de famílias eram muitos mais os filhos de Eleazar, do que os de Itamar. Fez-se esta divisão: Dezasseis chefes de família para os filhos de Eleazar, e oito chefes de família para os filhos de Itamar.	4 Since more chief men were found among the sons of Eleazar than among the sons of Ithamar, they organized them under sixteen heads of fathers' houses of the sons of Eleazar, and eight of the sons of Ithamar.
5 Fez-se, por sorte, a repartição de ambas as famílias entre si, porque havia príncipes do santuário e príncipes de Deus, tanto dos filhos de Eleazar como dos filhos de Itamar,	5 They organized them by lot, all alike, for there were officers of the sanctuary and officers of God among both the sons of Eleazar and the sons of Ithamar.

10 a sétima a Acos, a oitava a Abia,	10 the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,
11 a nona a Jesua, a décima a Sequenias,	11 the ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,
12 a undécima a Eliasib, a duodécima a Jacim,	12 the eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,
13 a décima terceira a Hota, a décima quarta a Isbaab,	13 the thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebe-ab,
14 a décima quinta a Belga, a décima sexta a Emer,	14 the fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,
15 a décima sétima a Hezir, a décima oitava a Afses,	15 the seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Happizzez,
16 a décima nona a Feteia, a vigésima a Hezequiel,	16 the nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezkel,
17 a vigésima primeira a Jaquim, a vigésima segunda a Gamul,	17 the twenty-first to Jachin, the twenty-second to Gamul,
18 a vigésima terceira a Dalaiau, a vigésima quarta a Maaziau.	18 the twenty-third to Delaiah, the twenty-fourth to Ma-aziah.
19 Assim se fez a sua distribuição segundo os seus ministérios, para servirem na casa do Senhor, de acordo com as regras estabelecidas por Aarão, seu pai, como tinha mandado o Senhor Deus de Israel.	19 These had as their appointed duty in their service to come into the house of the LORD according to the procedure established for them by Aaron their father, as the LORD God of Israel had commanded him.
20 Os outros filhos de Levi eram: Subael, dos filhos de Amrão, e Jeedeia dos filhos de Subael;	20 And of the rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, Shuba-el; of the sons of Shuba-el, Jehdeiah.
21 dos filhos de Roobia era chefe Jesias;	21 Of Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, Isshiah the chief.
22 de Isaari era filho Salemot, e de Salemot era filho Jaat;	22 Of the Izharites, Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath.

27 filhos de Merari, por Oziau, foram: Soão, Zacur e Hebri;	27 The sons of Merari: of Ja-aziah, Beno, Shoham, Zaccur, and Ibri.
28 Mooli teve um filho, isto é, Eleazar, o qual não teve filhos;	28 Of Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons.
29 filho de Cis foi Jerameel;	29 Of Kish, the sons of Kish: Jerahmeel.
