Prima lettera a Timoteo (1 تيموثاوس) 4

1 ولكن الروح يقول صريحا انه في الازمنة الاخيرة يرتد قوم عن الايمان تابعين ارواحا مضلة وتعاليم شياطين	1 The Spirit has explicitly said that during the last times some wil desert the faith and pay attention todeceitful spirits and doctrines that come from devils,
2 في رياء اقوال كاذبة موسومة ضمائرهم	2 seduced by the hypocrisy of liars whose consciences are branded as though with a red-hot iron:
3 مانعين عن الزواج وآمرين ان يمتنع عن اطعمة قد خلقها الله لتتناول بالشكر من المؤمنين وعارفي الحق.	3 they forbid marriage and prohibit foods which God created to be accepted with thanksgiving by all whobelieve and who know the truth.
4 لان كل خليقة الله جيده ولا يرفض شيء اذا اخذ مع الشكر	4 Everything God has created is good, and no food is to be rejected, provided it is received withthanksgiving:
5 لانه يقدس بكلمة الله والصلاة.	5 the word of God and prayer make it holy.
6 ان فكّرت الاخوة بهذا تكون خادما صالحا ليسوع المسيح متربيا بكلام الايمان والتعليم الحسن الذي تتبّعته.	6 If you put al this to the brothers, you wil be a good servant of Christ Jesus and show that you havereal y digested the teaching of the faith and the good doctrine which you have always fol owed.
7 واما الخرافات الدنسة العجائزية فارفضها وروّض نفسك للتقوى.	7 Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives' tales. Train yourself for religion.
8 لان الرياضة الجسدية نافعة لقليل ولكن التقوى نافعة لكل شيء اذ لها موعد الحياة الحاضرة والعتيدة.	8 Physical exercise is useful enough, but the usefulness of religion is unlimited, since it holds out promiseboth for life here and now and for the life to come;
9 صادقة هي الكلمة ومستحقة كل قبول.	9 that is a saying that you can rely on and nobody should doubt it.
10 لاننا لهذا نتعب ونعيّر لاننا قد القينا رجاءنا على الله الحي الذي هو مخلّص جميع الناس ولا سيما المؤمنين.	10 I mean that the point of al our toiling and battling is that we have put our trust in the living God and heis the Saviour of the whole human race but particularly of al believers.
11 اوص بهذا وعلّم	11 This is what you are to instruct and teach.
12 لا يستهن احد بحداثتك بل كن قدوة للمؤمنين في الكلام في التصرف في المحبة في الروح في الايمان في الطهارة.	12 Let no one disregard you because you are young, but be an example to al the believers in the way youspeak and behave, and in your love, your faith and your purity.
13 الى ان اجيء اعكف على القراءة والوعظ والتعليم	13 Until I arrive, devote yourself to reading to the people, encouraging and teaching.
14 لا تهمل الموهبة التي فيك المعطاة لك بالنبوة مع وضع ايدي المشيخة.	14 You have in you a spiritual gift which was given to you when the prophets spoke and the body of elderslaid their hands on you; do not neglect it.
15 اهتم بهذا. كن فيه لكي يكون تقدمك ظاهرا في كل شيء.	15 Let this be your care and your occupation, and everyone wil be able to see your progress.
16 لاحظ نفسك والتعليم وداوم على ذلك. لانك اذا فعلت هذا تخلّص نفسك والذين يسمعونك ايضا	16 Be conscientious about what you do and what you teach; persevere in this, and in this way you wilsave both yourself and those who listen to you.
