1 A Canticle Psalm to the sons of Korah. Its foundations are in the holy mountains:	1 - Salmo-cantico dei figliuoli di Core. Le sue fondamenta sono sui monti santi.
2 the Lord loves the gates of Zion above all the tabernacles of Jacob.	2 Ama il Signore le porte di Sionsovra tutte le dimore di Giacobbe.
3 Glorious things are being said of you, O City of God.	3 Cose gloriose son dette di te, o città di Dio!
4 I will be mindful of Rahab and of Babylon knowing me. Behold, the foreigners, and Tyre, and the people of the Ethiopians: these have been there.	4 «Ricorderò Rahab e Babilonia [nel numero] di quei che mi conoscono. Ecco gli stranieri e Tiro e il popol degli Etiopi:[anche] costoro son nati là!
5 Will not Zion say that this man and that man were born in her? And the Most High himself has founded her.	5 [Non si] dirà forse di Sion: - Ogni uomo è nato in essa -»? Ed egli stesso l'ha stabilita, l'Altissimo!
6 The Lord will explain, in the writings of peoples and of leaders, about those who have been in her.	6 Il Signore elenca nella lista de' popoli:«Questi son nati là!».
7 For so the dwelling place within you is with all rejoicing.	7 Come di giubilanti è la dimora di tutti in te!
