Psalms 125

1 A Canticle in steps. When the Lord turned back the captivity of Zion, we became like those who are consoled.	1 ωδη των αναβαθμων εν τω επιστρεψαι κυριον την αιχμαλωσιαν σιων εγενηθημεν ως παρακεκλημενοι
2 Then our mouth was filled with gladness and our tongue with exultation. Then they will say among the nations: “The Lord has done great things for them.”	2 τοτε επλησθη χαρας το στομα ημων και η γλωσσα ημων αγαλλιασεως τοτε ερουσιν εν τοις εθνεσιν εμεγαλυνεν κυριος του ποιησαι μετ' αυτων
3 The Lord has done great things for us. We have become joyful.	3 εμεγαλυνεν κυριος του ποιησαι μεθ' ημων εγενηθημεν ευφραινομενοι
4 Convert our captivity, O Lord, like a torrent in the south.	4 επιστρεψον κυριε την αιχμαλωσιαν ημων ως χειμαρρους εν τω νοτω
5 Those who sow in tears shall reap in exultation.	5 οι σπειροντες εν δακρυσιν εν αγαλλιασει θεριουσιν
6 When departing, they went forth and wept, sowing their seeds.	6 πορευομενοι επορευοντο και εκλαιον αιροντες τα σπερματα αυτων ερχομενοι δε ηξουσιν εν αγαλλιασει αιροντες τα δραγματα αυτων
7 But when returning, they will arrive with exultation, carrying their sheaves.
