Psalms 125

1 A Canticle in steps. When the Lord turned back the captivity of Zion, we became like those who are consoled.	1 Canto de peregrinación. Los que confían en el Señor son como el monte Sión, que permanece inconmovible para siempre.
2 Then our mouth was filled with gladness and our tongue with exultation. Then they will say among the nations: “The Lord has done great things for them.”	2 Jerusalén está rodeada de montañas: así rodea el Señor a su pueblo, desde ahora y para siempre.
3 The Lord has done great things for us. We have become joyful.	3 No permanecerá el cetro de los malvados sobre la herencia de los justos; no sea que también los justos inclinen sus manos a la maldad.
4 Convert our captivity, O Lord, like a torrent in the south.	4 Colma de bienes, Señor, a los buenos y a los rectos de corazón.
5 Those who sow in tears shall reap in exultation.	5 ¡Que el Señor haga ir con los malvados a los que se desvían por camino tortuosos! ¡Paz a Israel!
6 When departing, they went forth and wept, sowing their seeds.
7 But when returning, they will arrive with exultation, carrying their sheaves.
