Psalms 144

1 Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:	1 La laude a esso David. Esaltarò te, o Iddio, mio re; e al tuo nome benedicerò in SECULUM, e in SECULUM SECULI.
2 My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.	2 Benedicerò te per tutti i giorni; e laudarò il nome tuo in SECULUM, e in SECULUM SECULI.
3 LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him!	3 Grande è il Signore, e molto da lodare; e non è fine alla sua grandezza.
4 Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.	4 La generazione e generazione lodarà le opere tue; e raccontaranno la potenza tua.
5 Bow thy heavens, O LORD, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.	5 Parlaranno la magnificenza della gloria della santità tua; e raccontaranno le maraviglie tue.
6 Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out thine arrows, and destroy them.	6 E diranno la virtù delle tue opere terribili; e si narraranno la tua grandezza.
7 Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;	7 Mandaranno fuori la gloria della abbondanza della suavità tua; e rallegraransi nella giustizia tua.
8 Whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.	8 Il Signore è miseratore e misericordioso; paziente, e molto misericordioso.
9 I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.	9 A tutti è il Signore suave; e le sue misericordie sono sopra tutte le opere sue.
10 It is he that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword.	10 A te, Signore, confessino tutte le opere tue; e a te benedicano li santi tuoi.
11 Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood:	11 Diranno la gloria del tuo regno; e parlaranno la potenza tua;
12 That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace:	12 acciò manifestino alli figliuoli delli uomini la potenza tua, e la gloria della magnificenza del regno tuo.
13 That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets:	13 Il regno tuo è regno di tutti li mondi; e la tua signoria è in ogni generazione e generazione. Fedele è il Signore in tutte le parole sue, e santo in tutte le opere sue.
14 That our oxen may be strong to labour; that there be no breaking in, nor going out; that there be no complaining in our streets.	14 Leva il Signore tutti quelli che cascano; e raddrizza li offesi.
15 Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.	15 In te, Signore, sperano gli occhi di tutti; e tu a loro dài il cibo nel bisognoso tempo.
	16 Apri la mano tua; e ogni animale empierai di benedizione.
	17 Giusto è il Signore in tutte le vie sue, e santo in tutte le opere sue.
	18 Il Signore sta appresso a tutti li invocanti suoi; a tutti quelli che il chiamano in verità.
	19 Farà la volontà de' suoi tementi, e loro preghiere esaudirà; e faralli salvi.
	20 Il Signore guarda tutti coloro che l' amano; e dispargerà tutti li peccatori.
	21 La bocca mia parlarà la laude del Signore; e ogni carne benedica al nome santo suo in SECULUM, e in SECULUM SECULI.
