Livre d'Isaïe 24

JERUSALEM	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Voici que Yahvé dévaste la terre et la ravage, il en bouleverse la face et en disperse les habitants.	1 See how Yahweh lays the earth waste, makes it a desert, buckles its surface, scatters its inhabitants,
2 Il en sera du prêtre comme du peuple, du maître comme de l'esclave, de la maîtresse comme de laservante, du vendeur comme de l'acheteur, du prêteur comme de l'emprunteur, du débiteur comme du créancier.	2 priest and people alike, master and slave, mistress and maid, seller and buyer, lender and borrower,creditor and debtor.

15 "Oui, à l'orient, glorifiez Yahvé, dans les îles de la mer, le nom de Yahvé, le Dieu d'Israël."	15 'Yes, in the east, give glory to Yahweh, in the islands of the sea, to the name of Yahweh, God ofIsrael!'
16 Des confins de la terre nous avons entendu desIsaïe Psaumes, "gloire au Juste." Mais j'ai dit: "Quelle épreuve pour moi! quelle épreuve pour moi! malheur àmoi!" Les traîtres ont trahi, les traîtres ont tramé la trahison!	16 We have heard psalms from the remotest parts of earth, 'Glory to the Upright One!' But I thought,'What an ordeal, what an ordeal! What misery for me!' The traitors have betrayed, the traitors have acted mosttreacherously.
17 Frayeur, fosse, filet pour toi, habitant de la terre.	17 Fear, the pit and the snare for you, inhabitants of the city!
18 Et celui qui fuira devant le cri de frayeur tombera dans la fosse, et celui qui remontera de la fossesera pris dans le filet. Oui, les vannes d'en haut se sont ouvertes, les fondements de la terre ont tremblé.	18 And whoever flees from the cry of fear wil fal into the pit, and whoever climbs out of the pit will becaught in the snare. 21 Et il arrivera, en ce jour-là, que Yahvé visitera l'armée d'en haut, en haut, et les rois de la terre, sur laterre.	21 When that day comes, Yahweh wil punish the armies of the sky above and on earth the kings of theearth;
