SMITH VAN DYKE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 تسبيحة مزمور. لبني قورح‎. ‎عظيم هو الرب وحميد جدا في مدينة الهنا جبل قدسه‎.	1 [Song Psalm Of the sons of Korah] Great is Yahweh and most worthy of praise in the city of our God,the holy mountain,
2 ‎جميل الارتفاع فرح كل الارض جبل صهيون. فرح اقاصي الشمال مدينة الملك العظيم‎.	2 towering in beauty, the joy of the whole world: Mount Zion in the heart of the north, the settlement ofthe great king;
3 ‎الله في قصورها يعرف ملجأ	3 God himself among its palaces has proved himself its bulwark.
4 لانه هوذا الملوك اجتمعوا. مضوا جميعا‎.	4 For look, kings made al iance, together they advanced;
5 ‎لما رأوا بهتوا ارتاعوا فرّوا‎.	5 without a second glance, when they saw, they panicked and fled away.
6 ‎اخذتهم الرعدة هناك. والمخاض كوالدة‎.	6 Trembling seized them on the spot, pains like those of a woman in labour;
7 ‎بريح شرقية تكسر سفن ترشيش‎.	7 it was the east wind, that wrecker of ships from Tarshish.
8 ‎كما سمعنا هكذا رأينا في مدينة رب الجنود في مدينة الهنا. الله يثبّتها الى الابد. سلاه	8 What we had heard we saw for ourselves in the city of our God, in the city of Yahweh Sabaoth, whichGod has established for ever.Pause
9 ذكرنا يا الله رحمتك في وسط هيكلك‎.	9 We reflect on your faithful love, God, in your temple!
10 ‎نظير اسمك يا الله تسبيحك الى اقاصي الارض. يمينك ملآنة برا‎.	10 Both your name and your praise, God, are over the whole wide world. Your right hand is ful of savingjustice,
11 ‎يفرح جبل صهيون تبتهج بنات يهوذا من اجل احكامك	11 Mount Zion rejoices, the daughters of Judah delight because of your saving justice.
12 طوفوا بصهيون ودوروا حولها. عدوّا ابراجها‎.	12 Go round Zion, walk right through her, count her bastions,
13 ‎ضعوا قلوبكم على متارسها. تأملوا قصورها لكي تحدثوا بها جيلا آخر‎.	13 admire her walls, examine her palaces, to tel future generations
14 ‎لان الله هذا هو الهنا الى الدهر والابد. هو يهدينا حتى الى‏ الموت	14 that such is God; our God for ever and ever, he is our guide!
