Psalms 148

1 Alleluia. Praise the Lord from the heavens. Praise him on the heights.	1 Laudate il Signore del cielo; laudatelo nelli eccelsi.
2 Praise him, all his Angels. Praise him, all his hosts.	2 Laudatelo tutti li angeli suoi; laudatelo tutte le virtù sue.
3 Praise him, sun and moon. Praise him, all stars and light.	3 Laudatelo sole e luna; laudatelo tutte le stelle e luce.
4 Praise him, heavens of the heavens. And let all the waters that are above the heavens	4 Laudatelo li cieli de' cieli; e le acque, che son sopra li cieli, laudino il nome del Signore.
5 praise the name of the Lord. For he spoke, and they became. He commanded, and they were created.	5 Per che egli disse, e furono fatte; egli comandò, e furono create.
6 He has stationed them in eternity, and for age after age. He has established a precept, and it will not pass away.	6 Ordinò quelle in eterno, e in SECULUM SECULI; puose il comandamento, e nol moverà.
7 Praise the Lord from the earth: you dragons and all deep places,	7 Laudate il Signore chi siete in terra, caverne e tutti li abissi;
8 fire, hail, snow, ice, windstorms, which do his word,	8 fuoco, gragnuola, neve, ghiaccio, spirito di tempeste, che fanno il comandamento suo;
9 mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars,	9 o monti e tutti li colli; arbori fruttiferi e tutti li cedri;
10 wild beasts and all cattle, serpents and feathered flying things,	10 voi, bestie e tutte pecore; serpenti e uccelli volatili;
11 kings of the earth and all peoples, leaders and all judges of the earth,	11 voi, re della terra e tutti li popoli; prìncipi e tutti giudici della terra.
12 young men and virgins. Let the older men with the younger men, praise the name of the Lord.	12 Giovani e vergini, vecchi con giovencelli, laudino il Signore;
13 For his name alone is exalted.	13 per che è esaltato solo il nome suo.
14 Confession of him is beyond heaven and earth, and he has exalted the horn of his people. A hymn to all his holy ones, to the sons of Israel, to a people close to him. Alleluia.	14 La sua confessione sia sopra il cielo e la terra; e lui esaltarà la potenza del popolo suo. Sia laude a tutti li santi suoi; alli figliuoli d' Israel, populo apropinquante a lui.
