1 Alleluia. Praise the Lord from the heavens. Praise him on the heights.	1 - Alleluia! Lodate il Signore dai cieli, lodatelo lassù nell'alto.
2 Praise him, all his Angels. Praise him, all his hosts.	2 Lodate o voi tutti, angeli suoi, lodatelo, schiere sue tutte.
3 Praise him, sun and moon. Praise him, all stars and light.	3 Lodatelo, sole e luna, lodatelo, o stelle tutte lucenti.
4 Praise him, heavens of the heavens. And let all the waters that are above the heavens	4 Lodatelo, o cieli de' cieli, e acque tutte poste al di sopra de' cieli. Lodino il nome del Signore,
5 praise the name of the Lord. For he spoke, and they became. He commanded, and they were created.	5 perchè egli parlò e furon fatti, egli comandò e furon creati.
6 He has stationed them in eternity, and for age after age. He has established a precept, and it will not pass away.	6 Li stabilì in eterno e ne' secoli de' secoli, una legge pose, che non passerà.
7 Praise the Lord from the earth: you dragons and all deep places,	7 Lodate il Signore dalla terra, voi draghi e abissi tutti [del mare],
8 fire, hail, snow, ice, windstorms, which do his word,	8 fuoco, grandine, neve, gelo, vento di procella, esecutor di sua parola,
9 mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars,	9 voi monti e colline tutte, alberi fruttiferi e cedri tutti,
10 wild beasts and all cattle, serpents and feathered flying things,	10 le fiere e tutte le bestie, rettili e uccelli pennuti,
11 kings of the earth and all peoples, leaders and all judges of the earth,	11 voi re della terra e popoli tutti, principi e giudici tutti della terra,
12 young men and virgins. Let the older men with the younger men, praise the name of the Lord.	12 giovani e verginivecchi insieme ai giovani. Lodino il nome del Signore,
13 For his name alone is exalted.	13 perchè eccelso è il nome di lui solo.
14 Confession of him is beyond heaven and earth, and he has exalted the horn of his people. A hymn to all his holy ones, to the sons of Israel, to a people close to him. Alleluia.	14 La gloria di lui sorpassa il cielo e la terra, e ha inalzato la potenza del suo popolo. [Sia] un inno [in bocca] a tutti i suoi fedeli, ai figliuoli d'Israele, al popolo che gli è da presso. [Alleluia!]
