KING JAMES BIBLENEW AMERICAN BIBLE
Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.1 Brothers, even if a person is caught in some transgression, you who are spiritual should correct that one in a gentle spirit, looking to yourself, so that you also may not be tempted.
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.2 Bear one another's burdens, and so you will fulfill the law of Christ.
For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.3 For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he is deluding himself.
But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.4 Each one must examine his own work, and then he will have reason to boast with regard to himself alone, and not with regard to someone else;
For every man shall bear his own burden.5 for each will bear his own load.
Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.6 One who is being instructed in the word should share all good things with his instructor.
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.7 Make no mistake: God is not mocked, for a person will reap only what he sows,
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.8 because the one who sows for his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows for the spirit will reap eternal life from the spirit.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.9 Let us not grow tired of doing good, for in due time we shall reap our harvest, if we do not give up.
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.10 So then, while we have the opportunity, let us do good to all, but especially to those who belong to the family of the faith.
Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand.11 See with what large letters I am writing to you in my own hand!
As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.12 It is those who want to make a good appearance in the flesh who are trying to compel you to have yourselves circumcised, only that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.
For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.13 Not even those having themselves circumcised observe the law themselves; they only want you to be circumcised so that they may boast of your flesh.
But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.14 But may I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.15 For neither does circumcision mean anything, nor does uncircumcision, but only a new creation.
And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.16 Peace and mercy be to all who follow this rule and to the Israel of God.
From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.17 From now on, let no one make troubles for me; for I bear the marks of Jesus on my body.
Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.
