2 Cuando luchó contra Aram Naharaim y contra Aram de Sobá, y Joab volvió para derrotar a Edom, en el valle de la Sal, dando muerte a doce mil hombres.	2 You made the earth tremble, split it open; now mend the rifts, it is tottering stil .
3 ¡Oh Dios, tú nos has rechazado, nos has deshecho! Estabas irritado: ¡vuélvete a nosotros!	3 You have forced your people to drink a bitter draught, forced us to drink a wine that made us reel.

10 Moab es la vasija donde yo me lavo; plantaré mis sandalias en Edom y cantaré victoria sobre Filistea».	10 if not you, the God who has rejected us? God, you no longer march with our armies.
11 ¿Quién me llevará hasta la ciudad fortificada, quién me conducirá hasta Edom,	11 Bring us help in our time of crisis, any human help is worthless.
12 si tú, oh Dios, nos has rechazado y ya no sales con nuestro ejército?	12 With God we shal do deeds of valour, he wil trample down our enemies.
13 Danos tu ayuda contra el adversario, porque es inútil el auxilio de los hombres.
14 Con Dios alcanzaremos la victoria y él aplastará a nuestros enemigos.
