1 “Besaléel, Oholiab et tous ceux en qui Yahvé a mis un esprit de sagesse et d’intelligence pour réaliser des œuvres d’art, tous ceux-là, feront tout ce qu’a ordonné Yahvé pour le service sacré.”	1 Therefore, Bezalel, and Oholiab, and every wise man, to whom the Lord gave wisdom and intelligence, so as to know how to work skillfully, made that which was necessary for the uses of the Sanctuary and which the Lord had instructed.
2 Moïse fit donc appel à Besaléel et à Oholiab, à tous les hommes intelligents à qui Yahvé avait donné quelque talent, à tous ceux qui de bon cœur voulaient s’appliquer à cette œuvre pour bien l’exécuter.	2 And when Moses had called them and every man of learning, to whom the Lord had given wisdom, and who, of their own accord, had offered themselves in order to accomplish this work,
3 Ils retirèrent de devant Moïse les offrandes qu’avaient apportées les Israélites, pour exécuter les ouvrages destinés au service du sanctuaire. Chaque matin le peuple continuait à apporter à Moïse ses offrandes volontaires.	3 he handed over to them all the donations of the sons of Israel. And while they were pursuing this work, the people offered what they had vowed each day, in the morning.

N’apportez plus d’offrandes pour le sanctuaire.” Et on interdit au peuple d’en apporter davantage,	6 Therefore, Moses ordered this to be recited, with a voice of proclamation: “Let neither man nor woman offer anything further for the work of the Sanctuary.” And so they ceased from offering gifts,

9 Chaque tenture avait une longueur de 28 coudées et une largeur de quatre coudées. Toutes les tentures avaient la même dimension.	9 Each of these was twenty-eight cubits in length, and in width, four. All the curtains were of one measure.
10 Cinq de ces tentures furent réunies l’une à l’autre, et de même les cinq autres furent réunies l’une à l’autre.	10 And he joined five curtains to one another, and the other five he coupled to one another.
11 On fit des cordons de pourpre violette pour la lisière de la tenture qui terminait le premier assemblage, et on fit de même pour la lisière de la tenture qui terminait le second assemblage.	11 He also made loops of hyacinth along the edge of one curtain on both sides, and similarly along the edge of the other curtain,
12 On fit donc 50 cordons pour la première tenture et 50 pour la tenture qui terminait le second assemblage. Ces cordons se faisaient face à face.	12 so that the loops might meet against one another and might be joined together.
13 On fit également 50 agrafes d’or avec lesquelles on réunit les tentures l’une à l’autre, de telle sorte que la Demeure faisait un tout.	13 For these, he also cast fifty gold rings, which would retain the loops of the curtains and so make the tabernacle one.
14 On fit des tentures de poils de chèvres pour former une tente au-dessus de la Demeure, et l’on fit ainsi 11 tentures.	14 He also made eleven canopies from the hair of goats, in order to cover the roof of the tabernacle:
15 La longueur d’une tenture était de 30 coudées, et sa largeur de quatre coudées. Les 11 tentures avaient la même dimension.	15 one canopy held in length thirty cubits, and in width four cubits. All the canopies were of one measure.
16 On réunit d’un côté cinq tentures, et de l’autre 6.	16 Five of these he joined by themselves, and the other six separately.
17 On mit 50 cordons sur la lisière de la tenture qui terminait le premier assemblage, et 50 cordons sur la lisière de la tenture qui terminait le second assemblage.	17 And he made fifty loops along the edge of one canopy, and fifty along the edge of the other canopy, so that they might be joined to one another,
18 On fit 50 agrafes de bronze pour assembler la tente, pour qu’elle forme un seul tout.	18 and fifty buckles of brass, with which the roof might be woven together, so that from all the canopies there would be made one covering.
19 On fit pour la tente une couverture en peaux de béliers teintes en rouge, et par-dessus, une couverture en peau de poisson.	19 He also made a covering for the tabernacle from the skins of rams, dyed-red; and another cover above it, from violet skins.
20 On fit également des planches pour la Demeure, des planches en bois d’acacia posées sur champ.	20 He also made the standing panels of the tabernacle, from setim wood.
21 La longueur d’une planche était de 10 coudées et sa largeur d’une coudée et demie.	21 Ten cubits was the length of one panel, and one and one half cubits comprised the width.
22 Chaque planche avait deux tenons joints l’un à l’autre. On fit de même pour toutes les planches de la Demeure.	22 There were two dovetails along every panel, so that one might be joined to the other. Thus did he make all the panels of the tabernacle.
23 On fit des planches pour la Demeure: 20 planches pour le sud, à droite.	23 Of these, twenty were toward the meridian area, opposite the south,
24 On mit sous les 20 planches 40 supports en argent, chaque planche ayant deux supports sous ses deux tenons.	24 with forty bases of silver. Two bases were set under one panel at each of two sides at the corners, where the joints of the sides terminate in corners.
25 Pour le second côté de la Demeure, le côté du nord, on fit également 20 planches	25 Likewise, at that side of the tabernacle which looks toward the north, he made twenty panels,

And he made their rings from gold, through which the bars might be able to be drawn. And he covered the bars themselves with layers of gold.
