SMITH VAN DYKE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 لداود‎. ‎احمدك من كل قلبي. قدام الآلهة ارنم لك‎.	1 [Of David] I thank you, Yahweh, with all my heart, for you have listened to the cry I uttered. In thepresence of angels I sing to you,
2 ‎اسجد في هيكل قدسك واحمد اسمك على رحمتك وحقك لانك قد عظمت كلمتك على كل اسمك‎.	2 I bow down before your holy Temple. I praise your name for your faithful love and your constancy;your promises surpass even your fame.
3 ‎في يوم دعوتك اجبتني. شجعتني قوة في نفسي	3 You heard me on the day when I cal ed, and you gave new strength to my heart.
4 يحمدك يا رب كل ملوك الارض اذا سمعوا كلمات فمك‎.	4 Al the kings of the earth give thanks to you, Yahweh, when they hear the promises you make;
5 ‎ويرنمون في طرق الرب لان مجد الرب عظيم‎.	5 they sing of Yahweh's ways, 'Great is the glory of Yahweh!'
6 ‎لان الرب عال ويرى المتواضع. اما المتكبر فيعرفه من بعيد‎.	6 Sublime as he is, Yahweh looks on the humble, the proud he picks out from afar.
7 ‎ان سلكت في وسط الضيق تحيني. على غضب اعدائي تمد يدك وتخلّصني يمينك‎.	7 Though I live surrounded by trouble you give me life -- to my enemies' fury! You stretch out your righthand and save me,
8 ‎الرب يحامي عني. يا رب رحمتك الى الابد. عن اعمال يديك لا تتخل	8 Yahweh will do al things for me. Yahweh, your faithful love endures for ever, do not abandon what you have made.
