1 Unto the end. The understanding of the sons of Korah.	1 (40-1) ^^Начальнику хора. Псалом Давида.^^ (40-2) Блажен, кто помышляет о бедном! В день бедствия избавит его Господь.
2 As the deer longs for fountains of water, so my soul longs for you, O God.	2 (40-3) Господь сохранит его и сбережет ему жизнь; блажен будет он на земле. И Ты не отдашь его на волю врагов его.
3 My soul has thirsted for the strong living God. When will I draw close and appear before the face of God?	3 (40-4) Господь укрепит его на одре болезни его. Ты изменишь все ложе его в болезни его.
4 My tears have been my bread, day and night. Meanwhile, it is said to me daily: “Where is your God?”	4 (40-5) Я сказал: Господи! помилуй меня, исцели душу мою, ибо согрешил я пред Тобою.
5 These things I have remembered; and my soul within me, I have poured out. For I will cross into the place of the wonderful tabernacle, all the way to the house of God, with a voice of exultation and confession, the sound of feasting.	5 (40-6) Враги мои говорят обо мне злое: 'когда он умрет и погибнет имя его?'
6 Why are you sad, my soul? And why do you disquiet me? Hope in God, for I will still confess to him: the salvation of my countenance,	6 (40-7) И если приходит кто видеть меня, говорит ложь; сердце его слагает в себе неправду, и он, выйдя вон, толкует.
7 and my God. My soul has been troubled within myself. Because of this, I will remember you from the land of the Jordan and from Hermon, from the little mountain.	7 (40-8) Все ненавидящие меня шепчут между собою против меня, замышляют на меня зло:
8 Abyss calls upon abyss, with the voice of your floodgate. All your heights and your waves have passed over me.	8 (40-9) 'слово велиала пришло на него; он слег; не встать ему более'.
9 In the daylight, the Lord has ordered his mercy; and in the night, a canticle to him. With me is a prayer to the God of my life.	9 (40-10) Даже человек мирный со мною, на которого я полагался, который ел хлеб мой, поднял на меня пяту.
10 I will say to God, “You are my supporter. Why have you forgotten me? And why do I walk in mourning, while my adversary afflicts me?”	10 (40-11) Ты же, Господи, помилуй меня и восставь меня, и я воздам им.
11 While my bones are being broken, my enemies, who trouble me, have reproached me. Meanwhile, they say to me every single day, “Where is your God?”	11 (40-12) Из того узнаю, что Ты благоволишь ко мне, если враг мой не восторжествует надо мною,
12 My soul, why are you saddened? And why do you disquiet me? Hope in God, for I will still confess to him: the salvation of my countenance and my God.	12 (40-13) а меня сохранишь в целости моей и поставишь пред лицем Твоим на веки.
	13 (40-14) Благословен Господь Бог Израилев от века и до века! Аминь, аминь!
