1 Alleluia. Praise the Lord from the heavens. Praise him on the heights.	1 Alleluia. Lodate Dio. Lodate il Signore voi, che state ne' cieli: lodatelo voi, che siete ne' luoghi altissimi.
2 Praise him, all his Angels. Praise him, all his hosts.	2 Lodatelo voi tutti Angeli suoi: lodatelo tutti voi sue milizie.
3 Praise him, sun and moon. Praise him, all stars and light.	3 Lodatelo voi sole, e luna; voi stelle, tu luce, lodatelo,
4 Praise him, heavens of the heavens. And let all the waters that are above the heavens	4 Lodatelo voi, o cieli de' cieli, e le acque tutte, che son sopra de' cieli lodino il nome del Signore.
5 praise the name of the Lord. For he spoke, and they became. He commanded, and they were created.	5 Perocché egli parlò, e furon fatte le cose, ordinò, e furon create.
6 He has stationed them in eternity, and for age after age. He has established a precept, and it will not pass away.	6 Le ha stabilite per essere in eterno, per tutti i secoli: fissò un ordine, che non sarà trasgredito.
7 Praise the Lord from the earth: you dragons and all deep places,	7 Date laude al Signore voi, che abitate la terra, voi dragoni, e voi tutti, o abissi.
8 fire, hail, snow, ice, windstorms, which do his word,	8 Tu fuoco, tu grandine, tu neve, tu ghiaccio, tu vento procelloso: voi, che ubbidite alla sua parola.
9 mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars,	9 Voi monti, e voi tutte, o colline, piante fruttifere, e voi tutti, o cedri.
10 wild beasts and all cattle, serpents and feathered flying things,	10 Voi tutte bestie selvagge, e domestiche: voi serpenti, e voi pennuti sugelli.
11 kings of the earth and all peoples, leaders and all judges of the earth,	11 Regi della terra, e popoli tutti, principi tutti, e giudici della terra.
12 young men and virgins. Let the older men with the younger men, praise the name of the Lord.	12 I giovanetti, e le vergini, i vecchi, e i fanciulli lodino il nome del Signore, perché il nome di lui solo è sublime.
13 For his name alone is exalted.	13 La gloria di lui pel cielo si spande, e per la terra; ed egli ha esaltata la potenza del popol suo.
14 Confession of him is beyond heaven and earth, and he has exalted the horn of his people. A hymn to all his holy ones, to the sons of Israel, to a people close to him. Alleluia.	14 L'inno (conviene) a tutti i santi di lui, a' figliuoli d'Israele, al popolo propinquo a lui. Lodate Dio.
