1 Therefore, when all the multitude of the sons of Israel had gathered together, he said to them: “These are the things that the Lord has ordered to be done:	1 Mose versammelte die ganze Gemeinde der Israeliten und sagte zu ihnen: Das ist es, was der Herr euch zu tun befohlen hat:
2 For six days you shall do work; the seventh day, the Sabbath and the rest of the Lord, will be holy to you; whoever will have done any work in it shall be killed.	2 Sechs Tage soll man arbeiten; der siebte Tag ist heilig, Sabbat, Ruhetag zur Ehre des Herrn. Jeder, der an ihm arbeitet, soll mit dem Tod bestraft werden.
3 You shall not kindle a fire in any of your dwelling places throughout the day of the Sabbath.”	3 Am Sabbat sollt ihr in keiner eurer Wohnstätten Feuer anzünden.
4 And Moses said to the entire crowd of the sons of Israel: “This is the word which the Lord has instructed, saying:	4 Mose sagte zur ganzen Gemeinde der Israeliten: Der Herr hat Folgendes befohlen:
5 Separate from among you the first-fruits to the Lord. Let all who are willing and have a ready soul offer these to the Lord: gold, and silver, and brass,	5 Erhebt von euch eine Abgabe für den Herrn! Jeder, den sein Herz dazu bewegt, soll eine Abgabe für den Herrn bringen: Gold, Silber, Kupfer,
6 hyacinth, and purple, and twice-dyed scarlet, and fine linen, the hair of goats,	6 violetten und roten Purpur, Karmesin, Byssus, Ziegenhaare,
7 and the skins of rams, dyed red, and violet skins, setim wood,	7 rötliche Widderfelle, Tahaschhäute und Akazienholz,
8 and oil to prepare lights and to produce ointment, and most sweet incense,	8 Öl für den Leuchter, Balsam für das Salböl und für das duftende Räucherwerk,
9 onyx stones and gems, to adorn the ephod and the breastplate.	9 Karneolsteine und Ziersteine für Efod und Lostasche.
10 And whoever among you is wise, let him come and make what the Lord has commanded:	10 Alle Sachverständigen unter euch sollen kommen und alles anfertigen, was der Herr angeordnet hat:
11 the tabernacle, certainly, and its roof, and also the covering, the rings, and the panels with the bars, the tent pegs and the bases,	11 die Wohnstätte, ihr Zelt und seine Decke, seine Haken, Bretter, Querlatten, Säulen und Sockel,
12 the ark and its bars, the propitiatory, and the veil that is drawn before it,	12 die Lade und ihre Stangen, die Deckplatte und den Vorhang,
13 the table with its bars and vessels, and the bread of the presence,	13 den Tisch, seine Stangen, alle seine Geräte und die Schaubrote,

20 And all the multitude of the sons of Israel, departing from the sight of Moses,	20 Da ging die ganze Gemeinde der Israeliten weg von Mose;
21 offered the first-fruits to the Lord with a most ready and devout mind, to accomplish the work of the tabernacle of the testimony. 22 men along with women provided: arm bands and earrings, rings and bracelets. And every vessel of gold was separated, to be donated to the Lord.	22 Männer und Frauen kamen; alle brachten auf eigenen Antrieb hin Spangen, Nasenreife und Fingerringe, Halsketten, allerlei Goldgegenstände, jeder, der Gold für den Herrn als Weihegabe bringen wollte.
23 If anyone had hyacinth, and purple, and twice-dyed scarlet, fine linen and the hair of goats, the skins of rams, dyed red, and violet skins,	23 Alle, die etwas an violettem und rotem Purpur, Karmesin, Byssus, Ziegenhaaren, rötlichen Widderfellen oder Tahaschhäuten bei sich fanden, brachten es.
24 metal of silver and brass, they offered it to the Lord, along with setim wood for various uses.	24 Alle, die eine Abgabe an Silber oder Kupfer leisten wollten, brachten die Abgabe für den Herrn; alle, die Akazienholz beschaffen konnten, geeignet für jede Bearbeitung, brachten es herbei.
25 But the skillful women also gave whatever they had spun: hyacinth, purple, and vermillion, as well as fine linen,	25 Alle Frauen, die sich auf Handarbeit verstanden, spannen und brachten das Gesponnene: violetten und roten Purpur, Karmesin und Byssus.

29 All the men and women offered donations with a devout mind, so that the works might be done which the Lord had ordered by the hand of Moses. All the sons of Israel dedicated voluntary offerings to the Lord.	29 Alle Männer und Frauen, die ihr Herz dazu trieb, etwas zu irgendeiner Arbeit beizutragen, die der Herr durch Mose anzufertigen befohlen hatte, alle diese Israeliten brachten eine Spende für den Herrn.
30 And Moses said to the sons of Israel: “Behold, the Lord has called by name Bezalel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur, from the tribe of Judah,	30 Dann sagte Mose zu den Israeliten: Seht, der Herr hat Bezalel, den Sohn Uris, des Sohnes Hurs, vom Stamm Juda, beim Namen gerufen
31 and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, and understanding, and knowledge, and all teaching,	31 und ihn mit dem Geist Gottes erfüllt, mit Weisheit, Klugheit und Kenntnis für jegliche Arbeit,
32 to design and to fashion, with gold and silver and brass,	32 Pläne zu entwerfen und sie in Gold, Silber und Kupfer auszuführen
33 and with engraving stones, and with the skill of a carpenter. Whatever can be skillfully invented,	33 und durch Schneiden und Fassen von Steinen und durch Schnitzen von Holz allerlei Kunstwerke herzustellen.
34 he has given to his heart. It is likewise with Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach from the tribe of Dan.	34 Auch hat er ihm und Oholiab, dem Sohn Ahisamachs, vom Stamm Dan, die Gabe verliehen, andere zu lehren.
35 He has taught both of them wisdom, in order to do the work of carpentry, tapestry, and embroidery, from hyacinth, and purple, and twice-dyed scarlet, and fine linen, and every textile, and to discover whatever may be new.”	35 Er hat sie erfüllt mit Kunstsinn zum Ausführen jeder Arbeit eines Steinschneiders, eines Kunstwebers und eines Buntwirkers in violettem und rotem Purpur, Karmesin und Byssus sowie eines Webers. Sie können alle Arbeiten ausführen und die Pläne dazu entwerfen.
