1 [Song Psalm Of Asaph] God, do not remain silent, do not stay quiet or unmoved, God!	1 Пісня. Псалом. Асафа.
2 See how your enemies are in uproar, how those who hate you are rearing their heads.	2 Не мовчи, Боже, не німуй і не будь мовчазним, Боже!
3 They are laying plans against your people, conspiring against those you cherish;	3 Бо ось вороги твої заметушились, і ненависники твої підняли голову вгору.
4 they say, 'Come, let us annihilate them as a nation, the name of Israel shall be remembered no more!'	4 Змовляються підступно проти народу твого й нараджуються проти тих, кого ти захищаєш.
5 They conspire with a single mind, they conclude an al iance against you,	5 «Ходіте, кажуть, знищимо їх, щоб не були народом, і щоб ім’я Ізраїля не згадувалось більше».
6 the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagrites,	6 Бо вони врадили раду однодушно; уклали союз проти тебе:
7 Gebal, Ammon, Amalek, Philistia and the Tyrians;	7 Едомові намети й ізмаїльтяни, Моав та агаряни,
8 even Assyria has joined them to reinforce the children of Lot.Pause	8 Гевал, Аммон і Амалек, і Філістимлянська земля з мешканцями Тиру;
9 Treat them like Midian and Sisera, like Jabin at the river Kishon;	9 навіть Ашшур приєднувався до них, стававши на допомогу дітям Лота.
10 wiped out at En-Dor, they served to manure the ground.	10 Вчини їм, як Мідіянові, як Сісері, Явінові коло Кішон-потоку,
11 Treat their leaders like Oreb and Zeeb, al their commanders like Zebah and Zalmunna,	11 що знищені були біля Ен-Дору, що гноєм землі стали.
12 for they said, 'Let us take for ourselves God's settlements.'	12 Вчини з їхніми дуками, як з Оревом, як із Зеевом, як із Зевахом і Цалмунною, з усіма їхніми князями,
13 My God, treat them like thistledown, like chaff at the mercy of the wind.	13 які були сказали: «Візьмім собі в посілість пасовиська Божі!»
14 As fire devours a forest, as a flame sets mountains ablaze,	14 Мій Боже, вчини їх, немов перекотиполе, немов соломину, що нею крутить вітер.
15 so drive them away with your tempest, by your whirlwind fill them with terror.	15 Як вогонь, що ліси пожирає, як полум’я, що палить гори,
16 Shame written al over their faces, let them seek your name, Yahweh!	16 так гони їх бурею твоєю, збентеж їх хуртовиною твоєю!
17 Dishonour and terror be always theirs, death also and destruction.	17 Вкрий соромом обличчя їхнє, щоб шукали, Господи, ім’я твоє!
18 Let them know that you alone bear the name of Yahweh, Most High over al the earth.	18 Хай засоромляться й збентежаться на віки вічні, хай застидаються й загинуть. Хай знають, що тільки ти Господь на ім’я, найвищий над усією землею.
