1 [For the choirmaster For flutes Psalm Of David] Give ear to my words, Yahweh, spare a thought for mysighing.	1 (Per la fine per colei che ottiene l'eredità. Salmo di David).
2 Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God! To you I pray,	2 Porgi l'orecchio alle mie parole, o Signore, ascolta il mio grido.
3 Yahweh. At daybreak you hear my voice; at daybreak I lay my case before you and fix my eyes on you.	3 Piegati al suono della mia preghiera, o mio re e mio Dio.
4 You are not a God who takes pleasure in evil, no sinner can be your guest.	4 E' a te che innalzo la mia pre­ghiera; Signore, al mattino tu ascolti la mia voce.
5 Boasters cannot stand their ground under your gaze. You hate evil-doers,	5 Al mattino sto davanti a te, e guardo, chè tu non sei un Dio a cui piaccia l'iniquità.
6 liars you destroy; the violent and deceitful Yahweh detests.	6 Chè non sta presso di te il maligno, nè gl'ingiusti posson reggere alla tua presenza.
7 But, so great is your faithful love, I may come into your house, and before your holy temple bow down inreverence of you.	7 Tu hai in odio tutti quelli che fanno il male, tu mandi in rovina tutti i menzogneri. Il Signore ha in abbominio l'uomo sanguinario e fraudolento.
8 In your saving justice, Yahweh, lead me, because of those who lie in wait for me; make your way plainbefore me.	8 Io però, per la tua gran misericordia, entro nella tua casa, mi prostro nel tuo santo tempio colla riverenza a te dovuta.
9 Not a word from their lips can be trusted, through and through they are destruction, their throats arewide -- open graves, their tongues seductive.	9 Signore, guidami nella tua giustizia, per riguardo ai miei nemici, rendi diritta dinanzi a te la mia via.
10 Lay the guilt on them, God, make their intrigues their own downfal ; for their countless offences, thrustthem from you, since they have rebel ed against you.	10 Perchè sulla loro bocca non c'è sincerità, il loro cuore è un abisso.
11 But joy for al who take refuge in you, endless songs of gladness! You shelter them, they rejoice inyou, those who love your name.	11 La loro gola è un sepolcro aperto, colle loro lingue van tessendo inganni. Condannali, o Dio. Sian delusi nei loro disegni, per tanta loro empietà disperdili, perchè ti hanno irritato, o Signore.
12 It is you who bless the upright, Yahweh, you surround them with favour as with a shield.	12 E si rallegrino tutti quelli che sperano in te. Essi giubilino in eterno, e tu abita in loro; e in te si gloriino tutti quelli che amano il tuo nome.
	13 Perché tu benedici il giusto. O Signore, tu ci copri colla tua grazia come con uno scudo.
