Psalms 149

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA VOLGARE
1 Al eluia! Sing a new song to Yahweh: his praise in the assembly of the faithful!	1 Al Signore cantate il canto nuovo; la laude sua è nella chiesa de' santi.
2 Israel shall rejoice in its Maker, the children of Zion delight in their king;	2 Rallegrisi Israel in quello che ha fatto lui; e rallegrinsi li figliuoli di Sion nel re suo.
3 they shal dance in praise of his name, play to him on tambourines and harp!	3 Laudino il suo nome nel coro; nel timpano e salterio a lui salmizzino.
4 For Yahweh loves his people, he will crown the humble with salvation.	4 Per che il Signore è stato piacevole nel suo populo; e rallegrarà li mansueti nella salute.
5 The faithful exult in glory, shout for joy as they worship him,	5 Rallegraransi li santi nella gloria; e rallegraransi nelle abitazioni sue.
6 praising God to the heights with their voices, a two-edged sword in their hands,	6 Le allegrezze di Dio saranno nella loro gola; e li loro coltelli, da ogni parte aguzzati, son nelle loro mani;
7 to wreak vengeance on the nations, punishment on the peoples,	7 per far vendetta nelle nazioni, e le reprensioni nelli populi;
8 to load their kings with chains and their nobles with iron fetters,	8 per alligare li re con le catene, e loro gentili uomini con le catene del ferro;
9 to execute on them the judgement passed -- to the honour of al his faithful.	9 acciò faccino in quelli il giudizio già scritto; questa è la gloria a tutti li santi suoi.
