NEW JERUSALEM	DIODATI
1 [Song of Ascents] Whoever trusts in Yahweh is like Mount Zion: unshakeable, it stands for ever.	1 Cantico di Maalot. QUELLI che si confidano nel Signore, Son come il monte di Sion, il quale non può essere smosso, E che dimora in perpetuo.
2 Jerusalem! The mountains encircle her: so Yahweh encircles his people, henceforth and for ever.	2 Come Gerusalemme è intorniata di monti, Così il Signore è intorno al suo popolo, Da ora in eterno.
3 The sceptre of the wicked wil not come to rest over the heritage of the upright; or the upright mightset their own hands to evil.	3 Perciocchè la verga d’empietà non riposerà in perpetuo Sopra la sorte de’ giusti; Acciocchè talora i giusti non mettano le lor mani ad alcuna iniquità
4 Do good, Yahweh, to those who are good, to the sincere at heart.	4 O Signore, fa’ bene a’ buoni, Ed a quelli che son diritti ne’ lor cuori.
5 But the crooked, the twisted, turn them away, Yahweh, with evil-doers. Peace to Israel!	5 Ma, quant’è a quelli che deviano dietro alle loro obliquità, Scaccili il Signore con gli operatori d’iniquità. Pace sia sopra Israele
