1 A song of ascents. Like Mount Zion are they who trust in the LORD, unshakable, forever enduring.	1 - Cantico de' gradini. Quando il Signore ricondusse gli esuli di Sion, eravamo come trasognati.
2 As mountains surround Jerusalem, the LORD surrounds his people both now and forever.	2 Allora fu ripiena [d'un sorriso] di gioia la nostra boccae la lingua nostra di giubilo. Allora si diceva tra le genti:«Grandi cose ha fatto il Signore per essi!».
3 The scepter of the wicked will not prevail in the land given to the just, Lest the just themselves turn their hands to evil.	3 [Sì], grandi cose ha fatto il Signore per noi; noi siamo in esultanza.
4 Do good, LORD, to the good, to those who are upright of heart.	4 Riconduci, o Signore, i nostri esulicome un torrente nel mezzogiorno.
5 But those who turn aside to crooked ways may the LORD send down with the wicked. Peace upon Israel!	5 Quei che seminan tra le lacrime, nel giubilo mieteranno.
	6 Andavano, andavano e piangevano, spargendo il loro seme: vengono ora, vengono nel giubilo, portando i loro covoni.
