1 A song of ascents. Like Mount Zion are they who trust in the LORD, unshakable, forever enduring.	1 'Canto delle ascensioni'. Chi confida nel Signore è come il monte Sion: non vacilla, è stabile per sempre.
2 As mountains surround Jerusalem, the LORD surrounds his people both now and forever.	2 I monti cingono Gerusalemme: il Signore è intorno al suo popolo ora e sempre.
3 The scepter of the wicked will not prevail in the land given to the just, Lest the just themselves turn their hands to evil.	3 Egli non lascerà pesare lo scettro degli empi sul possesso dei giusti, perché i giusti non stendano le mani a compiere il male.
4 Do good, LORD, to the good, to those who are upright of heart.	4 La tua bontà, Signore, sia con i buoni e con i retti di cuore.
5 But those who turn aside to crooked ways may the LORD send down with the wicked. Peace upon Israel!	5 Quelli che vanno per sentieri tortuosi il Signore li accomuni alla sorte dei malvagi. Pace su Israele!
