1 ובנימן הוליד את בלע בכרו אשבל השני ואחרח השלישי	1 Benjamin was father of Bela, his first-born, Ashbel second, Ahiram third,
2 נוחה הרביעי ורפא החמישי	2 Nohah fourth, Rapha fifth.
3 ויהיו בנים לבלע אדר וגרא ואביהוד	3 Bela had sons: Addar, Gera father of Ehud,
4 ואבישוע ונעמן ואחוח	4 Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah,
5 וגרא ושפופן וחורם	5 Gera, Shephuphan and Huram.
6 ואלה בני אחוד אלה הם ראשי אבות ליושבי גבע ויגלום אל מנחת	6 These are the sons of Ehud. They were heads of families of the inhabitants of Geba and led them intoexile at Manahath:
7 ונעמן ואחיה וגרא הוא הגלם והוליד את עזא ואת אחיחד	7 Naaman, Ahijah and Gera. It was he who led them into exile; he became the father of Uzza andAhihud.
8 ושחרים הוליד בשדה מואב מן שלחו אתם חושים ואת בערא נשיו	8 Shaharaim had children in the Plains of Moab after he had dismissed his wives, Hushim and Baara.
9 ויולד מן חדש אשתו את יובב ואת צביא ואת מישא ואת מלכם	9 By his new wife he had sons: Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam,
10 ואת יעוץ ואת שכיה ואת מרמה אלה בניו ראשי אבות	10 Jeuz, Sachia, Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of families.
11 ומחשים הוליד את אביטוב ואת אלפעל	11 By Hushim he had sons: Abitub and Elpaal.
12 ובני אלפעל עבר ומשעם ושמד הוא בנה את אונו ואת לד ובנתיה	12 The sons of Elpaal were Eber, Misham and Shemed, who built Ono and Lud and its dependencies.
13 וברעה ושמע המה ראשי האבות ליושבי אילון המה הבריחו את יושבי גת	13 Beriah and Shema were the chiefs of the families who lived at Aijalon; they routed the inhabitants ofGath.
14 ואחיו ששק וירמות	14 His brother was Shashak. Jeremoth,
15 וזבדיה וערד ועדר	15 Zebadiah, Arad, Eder,
16 ומיכאל וישפה ויוחא בני בריעה	16 Michael, Ishpah, Joha were the sons of Beriah.
17 וזבדיה ומשלם וחזקי וחבר	17 Zebadiah, Meshul am, Hizki, Haber,
18 וישמרי ויזליאה ויובב בני אלפעל	18 Ishmerai, Izliah, Jobab were the sons of Elpaal.
19 ויקים וזכרי וזבדי	19 Jakim, Zichri, Zabdi,
20 ואליעני וצלתי ואליאל	20 Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel,
21 ועדיה ובראיה ושמרת בני שמעי	21 Adaiah, Beraiah, Shimrath were the sons of Shimei.
22 וישפן ועבר ואליאל	22 Ishpan, Eber, Eliel,
23 ועבדון וזכרי וחנן	23 Abdon, Zichri, Hanan,
24 וחנניה ועילם וענתתיה	24 Hananiah, Elam, Anthothijah,
25 ויפדיה ופניאל בני ששק	25 Iphdeiah, Penuel were the sons of Shashak.
26 ושמשרי ושחריה ועתליה	26 Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah,
27 ויערשיה ואליה וזכרי בני ירחם	27 Jaareshaiah, Elijah, Zichri were the sons of Jeroham.
28 אלה ראשי אבות לתלדותם ראשים אלה ישבו בירושלם	28 These were chiefs of families according to their relationship. They lived in Jerusalem.
29 ובגבעון ישבו אבי גבעון ושם אשתו מעכה	29 At Gibeon lived Jeiel the father of Gibeon, whose wife was cal ed Maacah.
30 ובנו הבכור עבדון וצור וקיש ובעל ונדב	30 His first-born son was Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
31 וגדור ואחיו וזכר	31 Gedor, Ahio, Zecher
32 ומקלות הוליד את שמאה ואף המה נגד אחיהם ישבו בירושלם עם אחיהם	32 and Mikloth. Mikloth fathered Shimeah. But they, unlike their brothers, lived at Jerusalem with theirbrothers.
33 ונר הוליד את קיש וקיש הוליד את שאול ושאול הוליד את יהונתן ואת מלכי שוע ואת אבינדב ואת אשבעל	33 Ner fathered Kish, Kish fathered Saul, Saul fathered Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab and Eshbaal.
34 ובן יהונתן מריב בעל ומריב בעל הוליד את מיכה	34 Son of Jonathan: Meribbaal. Meribbaal fathered Micah.
35 ובני מיכה פיתון ומלך ותארע ואחז	35 Sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tarea, Ahaz.
36 ואחז הוליד את יהועדה ויהועדה הוליד את עלמת ואת עזמות ואת זמרי וזמרי הוליד את מוצא	36 Ahaz fathered Jehoaddah, Jehoaddah fathered Alemeth, Azmaveth and Zimri. Zimri fathered Moza,
37 ומוצא הוליד את בנעא רפה בנו אלעשה בנו אצל בנו	37 Moza fathered Binea, Raphah his son, Eleasah his son and Azel his son.
38 ולאצל ששה בנים ואלה שמותם עזריקם בכרו וישמעאל ושעריה ועבדיה וחנן כל אלה בני אצל	38 Azel had six sons, whose names were these: Azrikam, his first-born, then Ishmael, Sheariah,Obadiah, Hanan. All these were sons of Azel.
39 ובני עשק אחיו אולם בכרו יעוש השני ואליפלט השלשי	39 Sons of Eshek his brother: Ulam, his first-born, Jeush second, Eliphelet third.
40 ויהיו בני אולם אנשים גברי חיל דרכי קשת ומרבים בנים ובני בנים מאה וחמשים כל אלה מבני בנימן	40 The sons of Ulam were warriors-archers. They had as many as a hundred and fifty sons andgrandsons. All these belonged to the sons of Benjamin.
