BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Del maestro de coro. Para oboes y arpa. Salmo. De David.	1 [For the choirmaster On oboe and harp Psalm Of David] I thank you, Yahweh, with my whole heart, Irecount al your wonders,
2 Te doy gracias, Yahveh, de todo corazón, cantaré todas tus maravillas;	2 I rejoice and delight in you, I sing to your name, Most High.
3 quiero alegrarme y exultar en ti, salmodiar a tu nombre, Altísimo.	3 My enemies are in retreat, they stumble and perish at your presence,
4 Mis enemigos retroceden, flaquean, perecen delante de tu rostro;	4 for you have given fair judgement in my favour, seated on your throne as upright judge.
5 pues tú has llevado mi juicio y mi sentencia, sentándote en el trono cual juez justo.	5 You have rebuked the nations, destroyed the wicked, blotted out their name for ever and ever;
6 Has reprimido a las gentes, has perdido al impío, has borrado su nombre para siempre jamás;	6 the enemy is wiped out -- mere ruins for ever -- you have annihilated their cities, their memory hasperished. See,
7 acabado el enemigo, todo es ruina sin fin, has suprimido sus ciudades, perdido su recuerdo. He aquí que	7 Yahweh is enthroned for ever, keeping his throne firm for judgement;
8 Yahveh se sienta para siempre, afianza para el juicio su trono;	8 he wil himself judge the world in uprightness, wil give a true verdict on the nations.
9 él juzga al orbe con justicia, a los pueblos con rectitud sentencia.	9 May Yahweh be a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble!
10 ¡Sea Yahveh ciudadela para el oprimido, ciudadela en los tiempos de angustia!	10 Those who revere your name can rely on you, you never desert those who seek you, Yahweh.
11 Y en ti confíen los que saben tu nombre, pues tú, Yahveh, no abandonas a los que te buscan.	11 Sing to Yahweh who dwel s in Zion, tel the nations his mighty deeds,
12 Salmodiad a Yahveh, que se sienta en Sión, publicad por los pueblos sus hazañas;	12 for the avenger of blood does not forget them, he does not ignore the cry of the afflicted.
13 que él pide cuentas de la sangre, y de ellos se acuerda, no olvida el grito de los desdichados.	13 Have pity on me, Yahweh, see my affliction, pull me back from the gates of death,
14 Tenme piedad, Yahveh, ve mi aflicción, tú que me recobras de las puertas de la muerte,	14 that I may recount al your praises at the gates of the daughter of Zion and rejoice in your salvation.
15 para que yo cuente todas tus alabanzas a las puertas de la hija de Sión, gozoso de tu salvación.	15 The nations have fal en into the trap they made, their feet caught in the snare they laid.
16 Se hundieron los gentiles en la fosa que hicieron, en la red que ocultaron, su pie quedó prendido.	16 Yahweh has made himself known, given judgement, he has ensnared the wicked in the work of theirown hands.Muted music Pause
17 Yahveh se ha dado a conocer, ha hecho justicia, el impío se ha enredado en la obra de sus manos. Sordina. Pausa.	17 May the wicked turn away to Sheol, al the nations forgetful of God.
18 ¡Vuelvan los impíos al seol, todos los gentiles que de Dios se olvidan!	18 For the needy is not forgotten for ever, not for ever does the hope of the poor come to nothing.
19 Que no queda olvidado el pobre eternamente, no se pierde por siempre la esperanza de los desdichados.	19 Arise, Yahweh; human strength shal not prevail. The nations shal stand trial before you.
20 ¡Levántate, Yahveh, no triunfe el hombre, sean juzgados los gentiles delante de tu rostro!	20 Strike them with terror, Yahweh; the nations shall know that they are no more than human!Pause
21 Infunde tú, Yahveh, en ellos el terror, aprendan los gentiles que no son más que hombres. Pausa.
