¹ Dávid zsoltára. Uram, hozzád kiáltok, siess hozzám, figyelj szavamra, amikor hozzád kiáltok!	¹ [Psalm Of David] Yahweh, I am cal ing, hurry to me, listen to my voice when I cal to you.
² Szálljon illatáldozatként színed elé imádságom, és kezem fölemelése legyen olyan, mint az esti áldozat.	² May my prayer be like incense in your presence, my uplifted hands like the evening sacrifice.
³ Tégy Uram lakatot a számra, ajkam ajtajára reteszt.	³ Yahweh, mount a guard over my mouth, a guard at the door of my lips.
⁴ Ne engedd, hogy szívem gonosz szavakra hajoljon, bűnös mesterkedésekre, a gonoszat cselekvőkkel együtt; Részem se legyen abban, amit ők szeretnek.	⁴ Check any impulse to speak evil, to share the foul deeds of evil-doers. I shal not sample theirdelights!
⁵ Ám feddjen meg irgalomból az igaz és korholjon engem; De a bűnös olaja ne kenje meg a fejem, mert gonoszságuk ellen imádkozom.	⁵ May the upright correct me with a friend's rebuke; but the wicked shal never anoint my head with oil,for that would make me party to their crimes.
⁶ Ha majd bíráik kemény kézbe kerülnek, meghallják szavaimat, mert azok hathatósak.	⁶ They are delivered into the power of the rock, their judge, those who took pleasure in hearing mesay,
⁷ Mint a földből kiszántott és széthasított rögök, úgy hullanak csontjaik az alvilág torkába.	⁷ 'Like a shattered mil stone on the ground our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol.'
⁸ Uram, Uram, a szemem rád tekint, tebenned remélek, ne vedd el életem!	⁸ To you, Yahweh, I turn my eyes, in you I take refuge, do not leave me unprotected.
⁹ Őrizz meg engem a tőrtől, amit nekem vetettek, a gonosztevők kelepcéitől!	⁹ Save me from the traps that are set for me, the snares of evil-doers.
¹⁰ A bűnösök a saját hálójukba esnek, de én átmegyek rajta!	¹⁰ Let the wicked fal each into his own net, while I pass on my way.
