| 2 דָּן יֹוסֵף וּבִנְיָמִן נַפְתָּלִי גָּד וְאָשֵׁר׃ ס | 2 Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher. |
| 3 בְּנֵי יְהוּדָה עֵר וְאֹונָן וְשֵׁלָה שְׁלֹושָׁה נֹולַד לֹו מִבַּת־שׁוּעַ הַכְּנַעֲנִית וַיְהִי עֵר ׀ בְּכֹור יְהוּדָה רַע בְּעֵינֵי יְהוָה וַיְמִיתֵהוּ׃ ס | 3 The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, and Shelah; these three Bath-shua the Canaanitess bore to him. Now Er, Judah's first-born, was wicked in the sight of the LORD, and he slew him. |
| 4 וְתָמָר כַּלָּתֹו יָלְדָה לֹּו אֶת־פֶּרֶץ וְאֶת־זָרַח כָּל־בְּנֵי יְהוּדָה חֲמִשָּׁה׃ ס | 4 His daughter-in-law Tamar also bore him Perez and Zerah. Judah had five sons in all. |
| 5 בְּנֵי־פֶרֶץ חֶצְרֹון וְחָמוּל׃ ס | 5 The sons of Perez: Hezron and Hamul. |
| 6 וּבְנֵי זֶרַח זִמְרִי וְאֵיתָן וְהֵימָן וְכַלְכֹּל וָדָרַע כֻּלָּם חֲמִשָּׁה׃ ס | 6 The sons of Zerah: Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Dara, five in all. |
| 7 וּבְנֵי כַּרְמִי עָכָר עֹוכֵר יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר מָעַל בַּחֵרֶם׃ ס | 7 The sons of Carmi: Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the matter of the devoted thing; |
| 8 וּבְנֵי אֵיתָן עֲזַרְיָה | 8 and Ethan's son was Azariah. |
| 9 וּבְנֵי חֶצְרֹון אֲשֶׁר נֹולַד־לֹו אֶת־יְרַחְמְאֵל וְאֶת־רָם וְאֶת־כְּלוּבָי | 9 The sons of Hezron, that were born to him: Jerahmeel, Ram, and Chelubai. |
| 10 וְרָם הֹולִיד אֶת־עַמִּינָדָב וְעַמִּינָדָב הֹולִיד אֶת־נַחְשֹׁון נְשִׂיא בְּנֵי יְהוּדָה | 10 Ram was the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab was the father of Nahshon, prince of the sons of Judah. |
| 11 וְנַחְשֹׁון הֹולִיד אֶת־שַׂלְמָא וְשַׂלְמָא הֹולִיד אֶת־בֹּעַז | 11 Nahshon was the father of Salma, Salma of Boaz, |
| 12 וּבֹעַז הֹולִיד אֶת־עֹובֵד וְעֹובֵד הֹולִיד אֶת־יִשָׁי | 12 Boaz of Obed, Obed of Jesse. |
| 13 וְאִישַׁי הֹולִיד אֶת־בְּכֹרֹו אֶת־אֱלִיאָב וַאֲבִינָדָב הַשֵּׁנִי וְשִׁמְעָא הַשְּׁלִישִׁי | 13 Jesse was the father of Eliab his first-born, Abinadab the second, Shimea the third, |
| 14 נְתַנְאֵל הָרְבִיעִי רַדַּי הַחֲמִישִׁי | 14 Nethanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth, |
| 15 אֹצֶם הַשִּׁשִּׁי דָּוִיד הַשְּׁבִעִי | 15 Ozem the sixth, David the seventh; |
| 16 [וְאַחְיֹתֵיהֶם כ] (וְאַחְיֹותֵיהֶם ק) צְרוּיָה וַאֲבִיגָיִל וּבְנֵי צְרוּיָה אַבְשַׁי וְיֹואָב וַעֲשָׂה־אֵל שְׁלֹשָׁה | 16 and their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. The sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, Joab, and Asahel, three. |
| 17 וַאֲבִיגַיִל יָלְדָה אֶת־עֲמָשָׂא וַאֲבִי עֲמָשָׂא יֶתֶר הַיִּשְׁמְעֵאלִי | 17 Abigail bore Amasa, and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite. |
| 18 וְכָלֵב בֶּן־חֶצְרֹון הֹולִיד אֶת־עֲזוּבָה אִשָּׁה וְאֶת־יְרִיעֹות וְאֵלֶּה בָנֶיהָ יֵשֶׁר וְשֹׁובָב וְאַרְדֹּון | 18 Caleb the son of Hezron had children by his wife Azubah, and by Jerioth; and these were her sons: Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon. |
| 19 וַתָּמָת עֲזוּבָה וַיִּקַּח־לֹו כָלֵב אֶת־אֶפְרָת וַתֵּלֶד לֹו אֶת־חוּר | 19 When Azubah died, Caleb married Ephrath, who bore him Hur. |
| 20 וְחוּר הֹולִיד אֶת־אוּרִי וְאוּרִי הֹולִיד אֶת־בְּצַלְאֵל׃ ס | 20 Hur was the father of Uri, and Uri was the father of Bezalel. |
| 21 וְאַחַר בָּא חֶצְרֹון אֶל־בַּת־מָכִיר אֲבִי גִלְעָד וְהוּא לְקָחָהּ וְהוּא בֶּן־שִׁשִּׁים שָׁנָה וַתֵּלֶד לֹו אֶת־שְׂגוּב | 21 Afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was sixty years old; and she bore him Segub; |
| 22 וּשְׂגוּב הֹולִיד אֶת־יָאִיר וַיְהִי־לֹו עֶשְׂרִים וְשָׁלֹושׁ עָרִים בְּאֶרֶץ הַגִּלְעָד | 22 and Segub was the father of Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead. |
| 23 וַיִּקַּח גְּשׁוּר־וַאֲרָם אֶת־חַוֹּת יָאִיר מֵאִתָּם אֶת־קְנָת וְאֶת־בְּנֹתֶיהָ שִׁשִּׁים עִיר כָּל־אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי מָכִיר אֲבִי־גִלְעָד | 23 But Geshur and Aram took from them Havvoth-jair, Kenath and its villages, sixty towns. All these were descendants of Machir, the father of Gilead. |
| 24 וְאַחַר מֹות־חֶצְרֹון בְּכָלֵב אֶפְרָתָה וְאֵשֶׁת חֶצְרֹון אֲבִיָּה וַתֵּלֶד לֹו אֶת־אַשְׁחוּר אֲבִי תְקֹועַ | 24 After the death of Hezron, Caleb went in to Ephrathah, the wife of Hezron his father, and she bore him Ashhur, the father of Tekoa. |
| 25 וַיִּהְיוּ בְנֵי־יְרַחְמְאֵל בְּכֹור חֶצְרֹון הַבְּכֹור ׀ רָם וּבוּנָה וָאֹרֶן וָאֹצֶם אֲחִיָּה | 25 The sons of Jerahmeel, the first-born of Hezron: Ram, his first-born, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah. |
| 26 וַתְּהִי אִשָּׁה אַחֶרֶת לִירַחְמְאֵל וּשְׁמָהּ עֲטָרָה הִיא אֵם אֹונָם׃ ס | 26 Jerahmeel also had another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam. |
| 27 וַיִּהְיוּ בְנֵי־רָם בְּכֹור יְרַחְמְאֵל מַעַץ וְיָמִין וָעֵקֶר | 27 The sons of Ram, the first-born of Jerahmeel: Maaz, Jamin, and Eker. |
| 28 וַיִּהְיוּ בְנֵי־אֹונָם שַׁמַּי וְיָדָע וּבְנֵי שַׁמַּי נָדָב וַאֲבִישׁוּר | 28 The sons of Onam: Shammai and Jada. The sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur. |
| 29 וְשֵׁם אֵשֶׁת אֲבִישׁוּר אֲבִיהָיִל וַתֵּלֶד לֹו אֶת־אַחְבָּן וְאֶת־מֹולִיד | 29 The name of Abishur's wife was Abihail, and she bore him Ahban and Molid. |
| 30 וּבְנֵי נָדָב סֶלֶד וְאַפָּיִם וַיָּמָת סֶלֶד לֹא בָנִים׃ ס | 30 The sons of Nadab: Seled and Appa-im; and Seled died childless. |
| 31 וּבְנֵי אַפַּיִם יִשְׁעִי וּבְנֵי יִשְׁעִי שֵׁשָׁן וּבְנֵי שֵׁשָׁן אַחְלָי | 31 The sons of Appa-im: Ishi. The sons of Ishi: Sheshan. The sons of Sheshan: Ahlai. |
| 32 וּבְנֵי יָדָע אֲחִי שַׁמַּי יֶתֶר וְיֹונָתָן וַיָּמָת יֶתֶר לֹא בָנִים׃ ס | 32 The sons of Jada, Shammai's brother: Jether and Jonathan; and Jether died childless. |
| 33 וּבְנֵי יֹונָתָן פֶּלֶת וְזָזָא אֵלֶּה הָיוּ בְּנֵי יְרַחְמְאֵל | 33 The sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the descendants of Jerahmeel. |
| 34 וְלֹא־הָיָה לְשֵׁשָׁן בָּנִים כִּי אִם־בָּנֹות וּלְשֵׁשָׁן עֶבֶד מִצְרִי וּשְׁמֹו יַרְחָע | 34 Now Sheshan had no sons, only daughters; but Sheshan had an Egyptian slave, whose name was Jarha. |
| 35 וַיִּתֵּן שֵׁשָׁן אֶת־בִּתֹּו לְיַרְחָע עַבְדֹּו לְאִשָּׁה וַתֵּלֶד לֹו אֶת־עַתָּי | 35 So Sheshan gave his daughter in marriage to Jarha his slave; and she bore him Attai. |
| 36 וְעַתַּי הֹלִיד אֶת־נָתָן וְנָתָן הֹולִיד אֶת־זָבָד | 36 Attai was the father of Nathan and Nathan of Zabad. |
| 37 וְזָבָד הֹולִיד אֶת־אֶפְלָל וְאֶפְלָל הֹולִיד אֶת־עֹובֵד | 37 Zabad was the father of Ephlal, and Ephlal of Obed. |
| 38 וְעֹובֵד הֹולִיד אֶת־יֵהוּא וְיֵהוּא הֹולִיד אֶת־עֲזַרְיָה | 38 Obed was the father of Jehu, and Jehu of Azariah. |
| 39 וַעֲזַרְיָה הֹלִיד אֶת־חָלֶץ וְחֶלֶץ הֹלִיד אֶת־אֶלְעָשָׂה | 39 Azariah was the father of Helez, and Helez of Ele-asah. |
| 40 וְאֶלְעָשָׂה הֹלִיד אֶת־סִסְמָי וְסִסְמַי הֹלִיד אֶת־שַׁלּוּם | 40 Ele-asah was the father of Sismai, and Sismai of Shallum. |
| 41 וְשַׁלּוּם הֹולִיד אֶת־יְקַמְיָה וִיקַמְיָה הֹלִיד אֶת־אֱלִישָׁמָע | 41 Shallum was the father of Jekamiah, and Jekamiah of Elishama. |
| 42 וּבְנֵי כָלֵב אֲחִי יְרַחְמְאֵל מֵישָׁע בְּכֹרֹו הוּא אֲבִי־זִיף וּבְנֵי מָרֵשָׁה אֲבִי חֶבְרֹון | 42 The sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel: Mareshah his first-born, who was the father of Ziph. The sons of Mareshah: Hebron. |
| 43 וּבְנֵי חֶבְרֹון קֹרַח וְתַפֻּחַ וְרֶקֶם וָשָׁמַע | 43 The sons of Hebron: Korah, Tappuah, Rekem, and Shema. |
| 44 וְשֶׁמַע הֹולִיד אֶת־רַחַם אֲבִי יָרְקֳעָם וְרֶקֶם הֹולִיד אֶת־שַׁמָּי | 44 Shema was the father of Raham, the father of Jorke-am; and Rekem was the father of Shammai. |
| 45 וּבֶן־שַׁמַּי מָעֹון וּמָעֹון אֲבִי בֵית־צוּר | 45 The son of Shammai: Maon; and Maon was the father of Bethzur. |
| 46 וְעֵיפָה פִּילֶגֶשׁ כָּלֵב יָלְדָה אֶת־חָרָן וְאֶת־מֹוצָא וְאֶת־גָּזֵז וְחָרָן הֹלִיד אֶת־גָּזֵז׃ ס | 46 Ephah also, Caleb's concubine, bore Haran, Moza, and Gazez; and Haran was the father of Gazez. |
| 47 וּבְנֵי יָהְדָּי רֶגֶם וְיֹותָם וְגֵישָׁן וָפֶלֶט וְעֵיפָה וָשָׁעַף | 47 The sons of Jahdai: Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph. |
| 48 פִּלֶגֶשׁ כָּלֵב מַעֲכָה יָלַד שֶׁבֶר וְאֶת־תִּרְחֲנָה | 48 Maacah, Caleb's concubine, bore Sheber and Tirhanah. |
| 49 וַתֵּלֶד עַף אֲבִי מַדְמַנָּה אֶת־שְׁוָא אֲבִי מַכְבֵּנָה וַאֲבִי גִבְעָא וּבַת־כָּלֵב עַכְסָה׃ ס | 49 She also bore Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbenah and the father of Gibe-a; and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah. |
| 50 אֵלֶּה הָיוּ בְּנֵי כָלֵב בֶּן־חוּר בְּכֹור אֶפְרָתָה שֹׁובָל אֲבִי קִרְיַת יְעָרִים | 50 These were the descendants of Caleb. The sons of Hur the first-born of Ephrathah: Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim, |
| 51 שַׂלְמָא אֲבִי בֵית־לָחֶם חָרֵף אֲבִי בֵית־גָּדֵר | 51 Salma, the father of Bethelem, and Hareph the father of Beth-gader. |
| 52 וַיִּהְיוּ בָנִים לְשֹׁובָל אֲבִי קִרְיַת יְעָרִים הָרֹאֶה חֲצִי הַמְּנֻחֹות | 52 Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim had other sons: Haroeh, half of the Menuhoth. |
| 53 וּמִשְׁפְּחֹות קִרְיַת יְעָרִים הַיִּתְרִי וְהַפּוּתִי וְהַשֻּׁמָתִי וְהַמִּשְׁרָעִי מֵאֵלֶּה יָצְאוּ הַצָּרְעָתִי וְהָאֶשְׁתָּאֻלִי׃ ס | 53 And the families of Kiriath-jearim: the Ithrites, the Puthites, the Shumathites, and the Mishra-ites; from these came the Zorathites and the Eshtaolites. |
| 54 בְּנֵי שַׂלְמָא בֵּית לֶחֶם וּנְטֹופָתִי עַטְרֹות בֵּית יֹואָב וַחֲצִי הַמָּנַחְתִּי הַצָּרְעִי | 54 The sons of Salma: Bethlehem, the Netophathites, Atroth-beth-joab, and half of the Manahathites, the Zorites. |
| 55 וּמִשְׁפְּחֹות סֹפְרִים [יֹשְׁבוּ כ] (יֹשְׁבֵי ק) יַעְבֵּץ תִּרְעָתִים שִׁמְעָתִים שׂוּכָתִים הֵמָּה הַקִּינִים הַבָּאִים מֵחַמַּת אֲבִי בֵית־רֵכָב׃ ס | 55 The families also of the scribes that dwelt at Jabez: the Tirathites, the Shime-athites, and the Sucathites. These are the Kenites who came from Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab. |
