Isaia (اشعياء) 2

SMITH VAN DYKE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 الامور التي رآها اشعياء بن آموص من جهة يهوذا واورشليم	1 The vision of Isaiah son of Amoz, concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2 ويكون في آخر الايام ان جبل بيت الرب يكون ثابتا في راس الجبال ويرتفع فوق التلال وتجري اليه كل الامم.	2 It wil happen in the final days that the mountain of Yahweh's house wil rise higher than the mountainsand tower above the heights. Then al the nations will stream to it,
3 وتسير شعوب كثيرة ويقولون هلم نصعد الى جبل الرب الى بيت اله يعقوب فيعلّمنا من طرقه ونسلك في سبله لانه من صهيون تخرج الشريعة ومن اورشليم كلمة الرب.	3 many peoples will come to it and say, 'Come, let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, to the house ofthe God of Jacob that he may teach us his ways so that we may walk in his paths.' For the Law wil issue fromZion and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.
4 فيقضي بين الامم وينصف لشعوب كثيرين فيطبعون سيوفهم سككا ورماحهم مناجل. لا ترفع امة على امة سيفا ولا يتعلمون الحرب فيما بعد	4 Then he wil judge between the nations and arbitrate between many peoples. They wil hammer theirswords into ploughshares and their spears into sickles. Nation wil not lift sword against nation, no longer wilthey learn how to make war.
5 يا بيت يعقوب هلم فنسلك في نور الرب.	5 House of Jacob, come, let us walk in Yahweh's light.
6 فانك رفضت شعبك بيت يعقوب لانهم امتلأوا من المشرق وهم عائفون كالفلسطينيين ويصافحون اولاد الاجانب.	6 You have rejected your people, the House of Jacob, for it has long been ful of sorcerers like thePhilistines, and is overrun with foreigners.
7 وامتلأت ارضهم فضة وذهبا ولا نهاية لكنوزهم وامتلأت ارضهم خيلا ولا نهاية لمركباتهم.	7 The country is ful of silver and gold and treasures unlimited, the country is ful of horses, its chariots areunlimited;
8 وامتلأت ارضهم اوثانا. يسجدون لعمل ايديهم لما صنعته اصابعهم.	8 the country is full of idols. They bow down before the work of their hands, before what their own fingershave made.
9 وينخفض الانسان وينطرح الرجل فلا تغفر لهم	9 Human nature has been humbled, humankind brought low: do not raise them again!
10 ادخل الى الصخرة واختبئ في التراب من امام هيبة الرب ومن بهاء عظمته.	10 Go into the rock, hide in the dust, in terror of Yahweh, at the bril iance of his majesty, when he arises tomake the earth quake.
11 توضع عينا تشامخ الانسان وتخفض رفعة الناس ويسمو الرب وحده في ذلك اليوم	11 Human pride wil lower its eyes, human arrogance will be humbled, and Yahweh alone wil be exalted,on that day.
12 فان لرب الجنود يوما على كل متعظم وعال وعلى كل مرتفع فيوضع	12 That wil be a day for Yahweh Sabaoth, for all who are majestic and haughty, for al who are proud, tobe brought low,
13 وعلى كل ارز لبنان العالي المرتفع وعلى كل بلوط باشان	13 for all the cedars of Lebanon, high and proud, and for al the oaks of Bashan;
14 وعلى كل الجبال العالية وعلى كل التلال المرتفعة	14 for all the high mountains and for al the proud hil s;
15 وعلى كل برج عال وعلى كل سور منيع	15 for every lofty tower and for every towering wal ;
16 وعلى كل سفن ترشيش وعلى كل الاعلام البهجة.	16 for all the ships of Tarshish and for everything held precious.
17 فيخفض تشامخ الانسان وتوضع رفعة الناس ويسمو الرب وحده في ذلك اليوم.	17 Human pride wil be humbled, human arrogance brought low, and Yahweh alone wil be exalted, on thatday.
18 وتزول الاوثان بتمامها.	18 When the idols al disappear,
19 ويدخلون في مغاير الصخور وفي حفائر التراب من امام هيبة الرب ومن بهاء عظمته عند قيامه ليرعب الارض.	19 they wil go into the caverns of the rocks and into the fissures of the earth in terror of Yahweh, at thebrilliance of his majesty, when he arises to make the earth quake.
20 في ذلك اليوم يطرح الانسان اوثانه الفضية واوثانه الذهبية التي عملوها له للسجود للجرذان والخفافيش	20 That day, people wil fling to moles and bats the silver idols and golden idols which have been made forthem to worship,
21 ليدخل في نقر الصخور وفي شقوق المعاقل من امام هيبة الرب ومن بهاء عظمته عند قيامه ليرعب الارض.	21 and go into the crevices of the rocks and the clefts in the cliffs, in terror of Yahweh, at the brilliance ofhis majesty, when he arises to make the earth quake.
22 كفوا عن الانسان الذي في انفه نسمة لانه ماذا يحسب	22 Have no more to do with humankind, which has only the breath in its nostrils. How much is this worth?
