2 Meshelemiah's sons: Zechariah, the first-born, Jediael, the second son, Zebadiah, the third, Jathniel, the fourth,	2 Meshélémyahu eut des fils: Zekaryahu le premier, Yediael le second, Zebadyahu letroisième, Yatniel le quatrième,
3 Elam, the fifth, Jehohanan, the sixth, Eliehoenai, the seventh.	3 Elam le cinquième, Yehohanân le sixième, Elyehoénaï le septième.

7 The sons of Shemaiah were Othni, Rephael, Obed, and Elzabad; also his brethren who were men of might, Elihu and Semachiah.	7 Fils de Shemaya: Otni, Rephaël, Obed, Elzabad, et ses frères les vaillants Elihu etSemakyahu.
8 All these were the sons of Obed-edom, who, together with their sons and their brethren, were mighty men, fit for the service. Of Obed-edom, sixty-two.	8 Tous ceux-là étaient fils d'Obed-Edom. Eux, leurs fils et leurs frères eurent dans leur serviceune haute valeur. Pour Obed-Edom, 62.
9 Of Meshelemiah, eighteen sons and brethren, mighty men.	9 Meshélémyahu eut des fils et des frères: dix-huit hommes vaillants.
10 Hosah, a descendant of Merari, had these sons: Shimri, the chief (for though he was not the first-born, his father made him chief),	10 Hosa, l'un des fils de Merari, eut des fils. Shimri était le premier, car, sans qu'il fût l'aîné,son père l'avait mis en tête.
11 Hilkiah, the second son, Tebaliah, the third, Zechariah, the fourth. All the sons and brethren of Hosah were thirteen.	11 Hilqiyya était le second, Tebalyahu le troisième, Zekaryahu le quatrième. Treize en tout,fils et frères de Hosa.
12 To these classes of gatekeepers, under their chief men, were assigned watches in the service of the house of the LORD, for each group in the same way.	12 Ceux-ci eurent leurs classes de portiers. Les chefs de ces preux avaient des chargescorrespondant à celles de leurs frères au service du Temple de Yahvé.
13 They cast lots for each gate, the small and the large families alike.	13 Pour chaque porte, on tira au sort par famille, qu'elle soit petite ou grande.
14 When the lot was cast for the east side, it fell to Meshelemiah. Then they cast lots for his son Zechariah, a prudent counselor, and the north side fell to his lot.	14 Pour l'est, le sort tomba sur Shélèmyahu, dont le fils Zekaryahu donnait des conseils avisés.On tira les sorts et le nord échut à ce dernier.
15 To Obed-edom fell the south side, and to his sons the storehouse.	15 Obed-Edom eut le sud et ses fils les magasins.

28 Also, whatever Samuel the seer, Saul, son of Kish, Abner, son of Ner, Joab, son of Zeruiah, and all others had consecrated, was under the charge of Shelomith and his brethren.	28 ainsi que de tout ce qu'avait consacré Samuel le voyant, Saül fils de Qish, Abner fils de Neret Joab fils de Ceruya. Tout ce que l'on consacrait fut sous la responsabilité de Shelomit et de ses frères.

31 Among the Hebronites, Jerijah was their chief according to their family records.
