Lévitique 4

JERUSALEM	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Yahvé parla à Moïse et dit:	1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Parle aux Israélites, dis-leur: Si quelqu'un pèche par inadvertance contre l'un quelconque descommandements de Yahvé et commet une de ces actions défendues,	2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:
3 si c'est le prêtre consacré par l'onction qui pèche et rend ainsi le peuple coupable, il offrira àYahvé pour le péché qu'il a commis un taureau, pièce de gros bétail sans défaut, à titre de sacrifice pour le péché.	3 If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering.
4 Il amènera ce taureau devant Yahvé à l'entrée de la Tente du Rendez-vous, lui posera la main surla tête et l'immolera devant Yahvé.	4 And he shall bring the bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD; and shall lay his hand upon the bullock's head, and kill the bullock before the LORD.
5 Puis le prêtre consacré par l'onction prendra un peu du sang de ce taureau et le portera dans laTente du Rendez-vous.	5 And the priest that is anointed shall take of the bullock's blood, and bring it to the tabernacle of the congregation:
6 Il trempera son doigt dans le sang et en fera sept aspersions devant le rideau du sanctuaire, devantYahvé.	6 And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before the LORD, before the vail of the sanctuary.
7 Le prêtre déposera alors un peu de ce sang sur les cornes de l'autel des parfums qui fument devantYahvé dans la Tente du Rendez-vous, et il versera tout le sang du taureau à la base de l'autel des holocaustes quise trouve à l'entrée de la Tente du Rendez-vous.	7 And the priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the LORD, which is in the tabernacle of the congregation: and shall pour all the blood of the bullock at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
8 De toute la graisse de ce taureau offert en sacrifice pour le péché voici ce qu'il prélèvera: lagraisse qui couvre les entrailles, toute la graisse qui est au-dessus des entrailles,	8 And he shall take off from it all the fat of the bullock for the sin offering; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
9 les deux rognons, la graisse qui y adhère ainsi qu'aux lombes, la masse graisseuse qu'il détacheradu foie et des rognons, --	9 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away,
10 tout comme la part prélevée sur le sacrifice de communion, -- et le prêtre fera fumer cesmorceaux sur l'autel des holocaustes.	10 As it was taken off from the bullock of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of the burnt offering.
11 La peau du taureau et toute sa chair, sa tête, ses pattes, ses entrailles et sa fiente,	11 And the skin of the bullock, and all his flesh, with his head, and with his legs, and his inwards, and his dung,
12 le taureau tout entier, il le fera porter hors du camp, dans un lieu pur, lieu de rebut des cendresgrasses. Il le brûlera sur un feu de bois; c'est au lieu de rebut des cendres grasses que le taureau sera brûlé.	12 Even the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt.
13 Si c'est toute la communauté d'Israël qui a péché par inadvertance et commis l'une des chosesdéfendues par les commandements de Yahvé sans que la communauté s'en soit aperçue,	13 And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;
14 la communauté offrira en sacrifice pour le péché un taureau, pièce de gros bétail sans défaut,lorsque le péché dont elle est responsable sera reconnu. On l'amènera devant la Tente du Rendez-vous;	14 When the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation.
15 devant Yahvé les anciens de la communauté poseront leurs mains sur la tête de ce taureau, etdevant Yahvé on l'immolera.	15 And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before the LORD: and the bullock shall be killed before the LORD.
16 Puis le prêtre consacré par l'onction portera dans la Tente du Rendez-vous un peu du sang de cetaureau.	16 And the priest that is anointed shall bring of the bullock's blood to the tabernacle of the congregation:
17 Il trempera son doigt dans le sang et fera sept aspersions devant le voile, devant Yahvé.	17 And the priest shall dip his finger in some of the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before the LORD, even before the vail.
18 Il déposera alors un peu de ce sang sur les cornes de l'autel qui se trouve devant Yahvé dans laTente du Rendez-vous, puis versera tout le sang à la base de l'autel des holocaustes qui est à l'entrée de la Tentedu Rendez-vous.	18 And he shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before the LORD, that is in the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
19 Il prélèvera alors de l'animal toute la graisse et la fera fumer à l'autel.	19 And he shall take all his fat from him, and burn it upon the altar.
20 Il traitera ce taureau comme il aurait traité le taureau du sacrifice pour le péché. Ainsi le traitera-t-on, et le prêtre ayant fait sur les membres de la communauté le rite d'expiation, il leur sera pardonné.	20 And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: and the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.
21 Il fera porter le taureau hors du camp et il le brûlera comme il aurait brûlé le précédent taureau.C'est là le sacrifice pour le péché de la communauté.	21 And he shall carry forth the bullock without the camp, and burn him as he burned the first bullock: it is a sin offering for the congregation.
22 A supposer qu'un chef pèche et fasse par inadvertance quelqu'une des choses interdites par lescommandements de Yahvé son Dieu et se rende ainsi coupable	22 When a ruler hath sinned, and done somewhat through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD his God concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty;
23 (ou si on l'avertit du péché commis sur ce point), il apportera comme offrande un bouc, un mâlesans défaut.	23 Or if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish:
24 Il posera la main sur la tête du bouc et l'immolera au lieu où l'on immole les holocaustes devantYahvé. C'est un sacrifice pour le péché:	24 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the LORD: it is a sin offering.
25 le prêtre prendra à son doigt un peu du sang de la victime et le déposera sur les cornes de l'auteldes holocaustes. Puis il en versera le sang à la base de l'autel des holocaustes	25 And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out his blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offering.
26 et en fera fumer toute la graisse à l'autel, comme la graisse du sacrifice de communion. Le prêtrefera ainsi sur ce chef le rite d'expiation pour le délivrer de son péché, et il lui sera pardonné.	26 And he shall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall make an atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.
27 Si c'est un homme du peuple du pays qui pèche par inadvertance et se rend coupable en faisantquelqu'une des choses interdites par les commandements de Yahvé	27 And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;
28 (ou si on l'avertit du péché commis), il amènera comme offrande pour le péché qu'il a commisune chèvre, une femelle sans défaut.	28 Or if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.
29 Il posera la main sur la tête de la victime et l'immolera au lieu où l'on immole les holocaustes.	29 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering.
30 Le prêtre prendra à son doigt un peu de son sang et le déposera sur les cornes de l'autel desholocaustes. Puis il versera tout le sang à la base de l'autel.	30 And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar.
31 Il détachera ensuite toute la graisse comme on détache la graisse d'un sacrifice de communion etle prêtre la fera fumer à l'autel en parfum d'apaisement pour Yahvé. Le prêtre fera ainsi sur cet homme le rited'expiation, et il lui sera pardonné.	31 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour unto the LORD; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him.
32 Si c'est un agneau qu'il veut amener comme offrande pour un tel sacrifice, c'est une femelle sansdéfaut qu'il amènera.	32 And if he bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish.
33 Il posera la main sur la tête de la victime et l'immolera en sacrifice pour le péché au lieu où l'onimmole les holocaustes.	33 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering
34 Le prêtre prendra à son doigt un peu du sang de ce sacrifice et le déposera sur les cornes del'autel des holocaustes. Puis il en versera tout le sang à la base de l'autel.	34 And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar:
35 Il en détachera toute la graisse comme on détache celle du mouton d'un sacrifice de communion,et le prêtre fera fumer ces morceaux à l'autel en plus des mets consumés pour Yahvé. Le prêtre fera ainsi surl'homme le rite d'expiation pour le péché qu'il a commis, et il lui sera pardonné.5, 1 Si quelqu'un pèche en l'un deces cas: Après avoir entendu la formule d'adjuration il aurait dû porter témoignage, car il avait vu ou il savait,mais il n'a rien déclaré et porte le poids de sa faute;	35 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.
