JERUSALEM	NEW JERUSALEM
1 "Tu feras un autel où faire fumer l'encens, tu le fera en bois d'acacia.	1 'You will make an altar on which to burn incense; you wil make it of acacia wood,
2 D'une coudée de long et d'une coudée de large, il sera carré, et il aura deux coudées et demie dehaut; ses cornes feront corps avec lui.	2 one cubit long, and one cubit wide -- it must be square -- and two cubits high; its horns must be of apiece with it.
3 Tu plaqueras d'or pur sa partie supérieure, ses parois tout autour et ses cornes, et tu lui feras toutautour une moulure d'or.	3 You will overlay its top, its sides all round and its horns with pure gold and make a gold moulding to goal round.
4 Tu lui feras deux anneaux d'or au-dessous de la moulure, sur ses deux côtés; tu les feras sur les deuxfaces pour y loger les barres servant à son transport.	4 You will make two gold rings for it below the moulding on its two opposite sides, to take the shaftsused for carrying it.
5 Tu feras ces barres en bois d'acacia, et tu les plaqueras d'or.	5 You will make the shafts of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.
6 Tu le mettras devant le rideau qui pend devant l'arche du Témoignage -- devant le propitiatoire quiest sur le Témoignage -- où je te donnerai rendez-vous.	6 'You will put it in front of the curtain by the ark of Testimony, in front of the mercy-seat which is on theTestimony, where I shal meet you.
7 Aaron y fera fumer l'encens aromatique chaque matin, quand il mettra les lampes en ordre il le ferafumer.	7 On it Aaron wil burn fragrant incense each morning; when he trims the lamps, he will burn incense onit;
8 Et quand Aaron replacera les lampes, au crépuscule, il le fera encore fumer. C'est un encensperpétuel devant Yahvé, pour vos générations.	8 and when Aaron puts back the lamps at twilight, he will burn incense on it, incense perpetual y beforeYahweh for all your generations to come.
9 Vous n'offrirez dessus ni encens profane ni holocauste ni oblation, et vous n'y verserez aucunelibation.	9 You will not offer unauthorised incense, or burnt offering, or cereal offering on it, and you will not pourany libation over it.
10 Une fois l'an, Aaron fera l'expiation sur les cornes de l'autel; avec le sang du sacrifice pour lepéché, au jour de l'Expiation, une fois l'an, il fera l'expiation pour lui, pour vos générations; il est éminemmentsaint, pour Yahvé."	10 Once a year, Aaron wil perform the rite of expiation on the horns of the altar; once a year, on the Dayof Expiation, with the blood of the sacrifice for sin, he wil make expiation for himself, for al your generations tocome. It is especial y holy for Yahweh.'
11 Yahvé parla à Moïse et lui dit:	11 Yahweh then spoke to Moses and said,
12 "Quand tu dénombreras les Israélites par le recensement, chacun d'eux donnera à Yahvé la rançonde sa vie pour qu'aucun fléau n'éclate parmi eux à l'occasion du recensement.	12 'When you count the Israelites by census, each one of them must pay Yahweh a ransom for his life,to avoid any incidence of plague among them while you are holding the census.
13 Quiconque est soumis au recensement donnera un demi-sicle sur la base du sicle du sanctuaire:vingt géras par sicle. Ce demi-sicle sera un prélèvement pour Yahvé.	13 Everyone subject to the census wil pay half a shekel, reckoning by the sanctuary shekel: twentygerah to the shekel. This half-shekel will be set aside for Yahweh.
14 Quiconque est soumis au recensement, c'est-à-dire âgé de vingt ans et au-delà, donnera leprélèvement de Yahvé.	14 Everyone subject to the census, that is to say of twenty years and over, will pay the sum set aside forYahweh.
15 Le riche ne donnera pas plus et le pauvre ne donnera pas moins d'un demi-sicle lorsqu'il donnera leprélèvement pour Yahvé, en rançon de vos vies.	15 The rich man must not give more, nor the poor man less, than half a shekel when he pays the sumset aside for Yahweh in ransom for your lives.
16 Tu prendras l'argent de la rançon des Israélites, et tu le donneras au service de la Tente du Rendez-vous; il sera pour les Israélites un mémorial devant Yahvé, pour la rançon de vos vies."	16 You wil take the ransom money of the Israelites and apply it to the service of the Tent of Meeting, forit to be a reminder of the Israelites before Yahweh, as the ransom for your lives.'
17 Yahvé parla à Moïse et lui dit:	17 Yahweh then spoke to Moses and said,
18 "Tu feras pour les ablutions un bassin de bronze à socle de bronze; tu le mettras entre la Tente duRendez-vous et l'autel, et tu y mettras de l'eau,	18 'You wil also make a bronze basin on its bronze stand, for washing. You wil put it between the Tentof Meeting and the altar and put water in it,
19 avec quoi Aaron et ses fils laveront leurs mains et leurs pieds.	19 in which Aaron and his sons wil wash their hands and feet.
20 Quand ils entreront dans la Tente du Rendez-vous, ils se laveront avec de l'eau afin de ne pasmourir; de même, quand ils s'approcheront de l'autel pour le service, pour faire fumer une offrande consuméepour Yahvé,	20 Whenever they are to enter the Tent of Meeting, they wil wash, to avoid incurring death; andwhenever they approach the altar for their service, to burn an offering for Yahweh,
21 ils laveront leurs mains et leurs pieds, afin de ne pas mourir: c'est là un décret perpétuel pour lui etsa descendance, pour leurs générations."	21 they wil wash their hands and feet, to avoid incurring death. This is a perpetual decree for him andhis descendants for all their generations to come.'
22 Yahvé parla à Moïse et lui dit:	22 Yahweh spoke further to Moses and said,
23 "Pour toi, prends des parfums de choix: 500 sicles de myrrhe vierge, la moitié de cinnamomeodoriférant: 250 sicles, et de roseau odoriférant 250 sicles.	23 'Take the finest spices: five hundred shekels of fresh myrrh, half as much (two hundred and fiftyshekels) of fragrant cinnamon, two hundred and fifty shekels of scented reed,
24 500 sicles de casse -- selon le sicle du sanctuaire -- et un setier d'huile d'olives.	24 five hundred shekels (reckoning by the sanctuary shekel) of cassia, and one hin of olive oil.
25 Tu en feras une huile d'onction sainte, un mélange odoriférant comme en compose le parfumeur:ce sera une huile d'onction sainte.	25 You wil make this into a holy anointing oil, such a blend as the perfumer might make; this wil be aholy anointing oil.
26 Tu en oindras la Tente du Rendez-vous et l'arche du Témoignage,	26 With it you wil anoint the Tent of Meeting and the ark of the Testimony,
27 la table et tous ses accessoires, les candélabres et ses accessoires, l'autel des parfums,	27 the table and al its accessories, the lamp-stand and its accessories, the altar of incense,
28 l'autel des holocaustes et tous ses accessoires, le bassin et son socle.	28 the altar of burnt offerings and al its accessories, and the basin with its stand,
29 Tu les consacreras, ils seront alors éminemment saints, et tout ce qui les touchera sera saint.	29 consecrating them, so that they wil be especial y holy and whatever touches them wil become holy.
30 Tu oindras Aaron et ses fils, et tu les consacreras pour qu'ils exercent mon sacerdoce.	30 You wil also anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them to be priests in my service.
31 Puis tu parleras aux Israélites et tu leur diras: ceci sera pour vous, pour vos générations, une huiled'onction sainte.	31 You wil then speak to the Israelites and say, "This anointing oil wil be holy for you for al yourgenerations to come.
32 On n'en versera pas sur le corps d'un homme quelconque et vous n'en ferez pas de semblable, demême composition. C'est une chose sainte, elle sera sainte pour vous.	32 It must not be used for anointing the human body, nor may you make any of the same mixture. It is aholy thing; you wil regard it as holy.
33 Quiconque fera le même parfum et en mettra sur un profane sera retranché de son peuple."	33 Anyone who makes up the same oil or uses it on an unauthorised person wil be outlawed from hispeople." '
34 Yahvé dit à Moïse: "Prends des aromates: storax, onyx, galbanum, aromates et pur encens, chacunen quantité égale	34 Yahweh then said to Moses, 'Take sweet spices: storax, onycha, galbanum, sweet spices and purefrankincense in equal parts,
35 et tu en feras un parfum à brûler comme en opère le parfumeur, salé, pur, saint.	35 and compound an incense, such a blend as the perfumer might make, salted, pure, and holy.
36 Tu en broieras finement une partie et tu en mettras devant le Témoignage, dans la Tente duRendez-vous, là où je te donnerai rendez-vous. Il sera pour vous éminemment saint.	36 You wil grind some of this up very fine and put it in front of the Testimony in the Tent of Meeting,where I shal meet you. You wil regard it as especial y holy.
37 Le parfum que tu fais là, vous n'en ferez pas pour vous-mêmes de même composition. Il sera saintpour toi, réservé à Yahvé. Quiconque fera le même pour en humer l'odeur, sera retranché de son peuple."	37 You may not make any incense of similar composition for your own use. You wil regard it as holy,reserved for Yahweh Anyone who makes up the same thing to use as perfume will be outlawed from his people.'
