| 1 Le Seigneur parla encore à Moïse et à Aaron, et il leur dit : | 1 The LORD said to Moses and Aaron, |
| 2 Parlez aux enfants d'Israël, et dites-leur : L'homme qui est atteint de gonorrhée sera impur. | 2 "Say to the people of Israel, When any man has a discharge from his body, his discharge is unclean. |
| 3 Et on jugera qu'il éprouve cet accident lorsqu'à chaque moment il s'amassera une humeur impure, qui s'attachera à sa personne. | 3 And this is the law of his uncleanness for a discharge: whether his body runs with his discharge, or his body is stopped from discharge, it is uncleanness in him. |
| 4 Tous les lits où il dormira et tous les endroits où il se sera assis seront impurs. | 4 Every bed on which he who has the discharge lies shall be unclean; and everything on which he sits shall be unclean. |
| 5 Si quelqu'un touche son lit, il lavera ses vêtements ; et s'étant lui-même lavé dans l'eau, il demeurera impur jusqu'au soir. | 5 And any one who touches his bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. |
| 6 S'il s'assied où cet homme se sera assis, il lavera aussi ses vêtements ; et s'étant lavé dans l'eau, il demeurera impur jusqu'au soir. | 6 And whoever sits on anything on which he who has the discharge has sat shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. |
| 7 Celui qui aura touché la chair de cet homme lavera ses vêtements ; et s'étant lui-même lavé dans l'eau, il demeurera impur jusqu'au soir. | 7 And whoever touches the body of him who has the discharge shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. |
| 8 Si cet homme jette de sa salive sur celui qui est pur, celui-ci lavera ses vêtements ; et s'étant lavé dans l'eau, il demeurera impur jusqu'au soir. | 8 And if he who has the discharge spits on one who is clean, then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. |
| 9 La selle (le bât) sur laquelle il se sera assis sera impure ; | 9 And any saddle on which he who has the discharge rides shall be unclean. |
| 10 et tout ce qui aura été sous celui qui souffre cet accident sera impur jusqu'au soir. Celui qui portera quelqu'une de ces choses lavera ses vêtements ; et après avoir été lui-même lavé avec l'eau, il sera impur jusqu'au soir. | 10 And whoever touches anything that was under him shall be unclean until the evening; and he who carries such a thing shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. |
| 11 Que si un homme en cet état, avant d'avoir lavé ses mains, en touche un autre, celui qui aura été touché lavera ses vêtements ; et après avoir été lui-même lavé avec l'eau, il sera impur jusqu'au soir. | 11 Any one whom he that has the discharge touches without having rinsed his hands in water shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. |
| 12 Quand un vase aura été touché par cet homme, s'il est de terre, il sera brisé ; s'il est de bois, il sera lavé dans l'eau. | 12 And the earthen vessel which he who has the discharge touches shall be broken; and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water. |
| 13 Si celui qui souffre cet accident est guéri, il comptera sept jours après en avoir été délivré, et ayant lavé ses habits et tout son corps dans des eaux vives, il sera pur. | 13 "And when he who has a discharge is cleansed of his discharge, then he shall count for himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes; and he shall bathe his body in running water, and shall be clean. |
| 14 Le huitième jour il prendra deux tourterelles, ou deux petits de colombe, et, se présentant devant le Seigneur à l'entrée du tabernacle du (de) témoignage, il les donnera au prêtre, | 14 And on the eighth day he shall take two turtledoves or two young pigeons, and come before the LORD to the door of the tent of meeting, and give them to the priest; |
| 15 qui en immolera l'un pour le péché et offrira l'autre en holocauste, et qui priera pour lui devant le Seigneur, afin qu'il soit purifié de cette impureté (sa gonorrhée). | 15 and the priest shall offer them, one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him before the LORD for his discharge. |
| 16 L'homme à qui il arrive une pollution (qui a usé du mariage) lavera d'eau tout son corps, et il sera impur jusqu'au soir. | 16 "And if a man has an emission of semen, he shall bathe his whole body in water, and be unclean until the evening. |
| 17 Il lavera dans l'eau la robe et la peau qu'il aura eue sur lui, et elle sera impure jusqu'au soir. | 17 And every garment and every skin on which the semen comes shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the evening. |
| 18 La femme dont il se sera approché se lavera, et elle sera impure jusqu'au soir. | 18 If a man lies with a woman and has an emission of semen, both of them shall bathe themselves in water, and be unclean until the evening. |
| 19 La femme qui souffre ce qui dans l'ordre de la nature arrive chaque mois, sera séparée pendant sept jours. | 19 "When a woman has a discharge of blood which is her regular discharge from her body, she shall be in her impurity for seven days, and whoever touches her shall be unclean until the evening. |
| 20 Quiconque la touchera sera impur jusqu'au soir ; | 20 And everything upon which she lies during her impurity shall be unclean; everything also upon which she sits shall be unclean. |
| 21 et toutes les choses sur lesquelles elle aura dormi, et où elle se sera assise pendant les jours de sa séparation, seront souillées. | 21 And whoever touches her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. |
| 22 Celui qui aura touché à son lit lavera ses vêtements ; et après s'être lui-même lavé dans l'eau, il sera impur jusqu'au soir. | 22 And whoever touches anything upon which she sits shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening; |
| 23 Quiconque aura touché à toutes les choses sur lesquelles elle se sera assise lavera ses vêtements ; et s'étant lui-même lavé dans l'eau, il sera souillé jusqu'au soir. | 23 whether it is the bed or anything upon which she sits, when he touches it he shall be unclean until the evening. |
| 24 Si un homme s'approche d'elle lorsqu'elle sera dans cet état qui vient chaque mois, il sera impur pendant sept jours ; et tous les lits sur lesquels il dormira seront souillés. | 24 And if any man lies with her, and her impurity is on him, he shall be unclean seven days; and every bed on which he lies shall be unclean. |
| 25 La femme qui, hors le temps ordinaire, souffre plusieurs jours cet accident qui ne doit arriver qu'à chaque mois, ou pour laquelle cet accident ordinaire continue lors même qu'il aurait dû cesser, demeurera impure, comme elle est chaque mois, tant qu'elle sera sujette à cet accident. | 25 "If a woman has a discharge of blood for many days, not at the time of her impurity, or if she has a discharge beyond the time of her impurity, all the days of the discharge she shall continue in uncleanness; as in the days of her impurity, she shall be unclean. |
| 26 Tous les lits sur lesquels elle aura dormi, et toutes les choses sur lesquelles elle se sera assise, seront impures. | 26 Every bed on which she lies, all the days of her discharge, shall be to her as the bed of her impurity; and everything on which she sits shall be unclean, as in the uncleanness of her impurity. |
| 27 Quiconque les aura touchées lavera ses vêtements ; et après s'être lui-même lavé dans l'eau, il demeurera impur jusqu'au soir. | 27 And whoever touches these things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. |
| 28 Si cet accident s'arrête et n'a plus son effet, elle comptera sept jours pour sa purification ; | 28 But if she is cleansed of her discharge, she shall count for herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean. |
| 29 et au huitième jour elle offrira pour elle au prêtre deux tourterelles ou deux petits de colombes, à l'entrée du tabernacle du (de) témoignage. | 29 And on the eighth day she shall take two turtledoves or two young pigeons, and bring them to the priest, to the door of the tent of meeting. |
| 30 Le prêtre en immolera l'un pour le péché, et offrira l'autre en holocauste ; et il priera devant le Seigneur pour elle, et pour ce qu'elle a souffert d'impur. | 30 And the priest shall offer one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make atonement for her before the LORD for her unclean discharge. |
| 31 Vous apprendrez donc aux enfants d'Israël à se garder de l'impureté, afin qu'ils ne meurent point dans leurs souillures, après avoir violé la sainteté de mon tabernacle qui est au milieu d'eux. | 31 "Thus you shall keep the people of Israel separate from their uncleanness, lest they die in their uncleanness by defiling my tabernacle that is in their midst." |
| 32 C'est là la loi qui regarde celui qui souffre de gonorrhée, ou qui se souille en s'approchant d'une femme, | 32 This is the law for him who has a discharge and for him who has an emission of semen, becoming unclean thereby; |
| 33 et c'est là aussi la loi qui regarde la femme qui est séparée à cause de ce qui lui arrive chaque mois, ou en laquelle ce même accident continue dans la suite ; et qui regarde aussi l'homme qui se sera approché d'elle en cet état. | 33 also for her who is sick with her impurity; that is, for any one, male or female, who has a discharge, and for the man who lies with a woman who is unclean. |
