1 Alleluia. Praise the Lord, children. Praise the name of the Lord.	1 ALLELUIA, Beato l’uomo che teme il Signore, E si diletta sommamente ne’ suoi comandamenti.
2 Blessed is the name of the Lord, from this time forward and even forever.	2 La sua progenie sarà possente in terra; La generazione degli uomini diritti sarà benedetta.
3 From the rising of the sun, even to its setting, praiseworthy is the name of the Lord.	3 Facoltà e ricchezze son nella sua casa, E la sua giustizia dimora in perpetuo.
4 The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory is high above the heavens.	4 La luce si leva nelle tenebre a quelli che son diritti. Un tale uomo è pietoso, misericordioso, e giusto.
5 Who is like the Lord, our God, who dwells on high,	5 L’uomo da bene dona, e presta; E governa i fatti suoi con dirittura
6 and who gazes upon the humble things in heaven and on earth?	6 Certo egli non sarà giammai smosso; Il giusto sarà in memoria perpetua.
7 He lifts up the needy from the ground, and he urges the poor away from filth,	7 Egli non temerà di mal grido; Il suo cuore è fermo, egli si confida nel Signore.
8 so that he may place him with the leaders, with the leaders of his people.	8 Il suo cuore è bene appoggiato, egli non avrà paura alcuna, Finchè vegga ne’ suoi nemici ciò ch’egli desidera.
9 He causes a barren woman to live in a house, as the joyful mother of sons.	9 Egli ha sparso, egli ha donato a’ bisognosi; La sua giustizia dimora in perpetuo, Il suo corno sarà alzato in gloria.
	10 L’empio lo vedrà, e dispetterà; Egli digrignerà i denti, e si struggerà; Il desiderio degli empi perirà
