1 For the leader; with stringed instruments, "upon the eighth." A psalm of David.	1 לַמְנַצֵּחַ בִּנְגִינֹות עַל־הַשְּׁמִינִית מִזְמֹור לְדָוִד
2 Do not reprove me in your anger, LORD, nor punish me in your wrath.	2 יְהוָה אַל־בְּאַפְּךָ תֹוכִיחֵנִי וְאַל־בַּחֲמָתְךָ תְיַסְּרֵנִי
3 Have pity on me, LORD, for I am weak; heal me, LORD, for my bones are trembling.	3 חָנֵּנִי יְהוָה כִּי אֻמְלַל אָנִי רְפָאֵנִי יְהוָה כִּי נִבְהֲלוּ עֲצָמָי
4 In utter terror is my soul-- and you, LORD, how long...?	4 וְנַפְשִׁי נִבְהֲלָה מְאֹד [וְאַתְּ כ] (וְאַתָּה ק) יְהוָה עַד־מָתָי
5 Turn, LORD, save my life; in your mercy rescue me.	5 שׁוּבָה יְהוָה חַלְּצָה נַפְשִׁי הֹושִׁיעֵנִי לְמַעַן חַסְדֶּךָ
6 For who among the dead remembers you? Who praises you in Sheol?	6 כִּי אֵין בַּמָּוֶת זִכְרֶךָ בִּשְׁאֹול מִי יֹודֶה־לָּךְ
7 I am wearied with sighing; all night long tears drench my bed; my couch is soaked with weeping.	7 יָגַעְתִּי ׀ בְּאַנְחָתִי אַשְׂחֶה בְכָל־לַיְלָה מִטָּתִי בְּדִמְעָתִי עַרְשִׂי אַמְסֶה
8 My eyes are dimmed with sorrow, worn out because of all my foes.	8 עָשְׁשָׁה מִכַּעַס עֵינִי עָתְקָה בְּכָל־צֹורְרָי
9 Away from me, all who do evil! The LORD has heard my weeping.	9 סוּרוּ מִמֶּנִּי כָּל־פֹּעֲלֵי אָוֶן כִּי־שָׁמַע יְהוָה קֹול בִּכְיִי
10 The LORD has heard my prayer; the LORD takes up my plea.	10 שָׁמַע יְהוָה תְּחִנָּתִי יְהוָה תְּפִלָּתִי יִקָּח
11 My foes will be terrified and disgraced; all will fall back in sudden shame.	11 יֵבֹשׁוּ ׀ וְיִבָּהֲלוּ מְאֹד כָּל־אֹיְבָי יָשֻׁבוּ יֵבֹשׁוּ רָגַע
	12 וְרִחַק יְהוָה אֶת־הָאָדָם וְרַבָּה הָעֲזוּבָה בְּקֶרֶב הָאָרֶץ
	13 וְעֹוד בָּהּ עֲשִׂרִיָּה וְשָׁבָה וְהָיְתָה לְבָעֵר כָּאֵלָה וְכָאַלֹּון אֲשֶׁר בְּשַׁלֶּכֶת מַצֶּבֶת בָּם זֶרַע קֹדֶשׁ מַצַּבְתָּהּ׃ פ
