Psalms 75

1 Unto the end, corrupt not, a psalm of a canticle for Asaph.	1 [For the choirmaster Tune: 'Do not destroy' Psalm Of Asaph Song] We give thanks to you, God, wegive thanks to you, as we cal upon your name, as we recount your wonders.
2 We will praise thee, O God: we will praise, and we will call upon thy name. We will relate thy wondrous works:	2 'At the appointed time I myself shal dispense justice.
3 when I shall take a time, I will judge justices.	3 The earth quakes and al its inhabitants; it is I who hold its pil ars firm.Pause
4 The earth is melted, and all that dwell therein: I have established the pillars thereof.	4 'I said to the boastful, "Do not boast!" to the wicked, "Do not flaunt your strength!
5 I said to the wicked: Do not act wickedly: and to the sinners: Lift not up the horn.	5 Do not flaunt your strength so proudly, do not talk with that arrogant stance." '
6 Lift not up your horn on high: speak not iniquity against God.	6 No longer from east to west, no longer in the mountainous desert,
7 For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the desert hills:	7 is God judging in uprightness, bringing some down, raising others.
8 for God is the judge. One he putteth down, and another he lifteth up:	8 Yahweh is holding a cup fil ed with a heady blend of wine; he wil pour it, they wil drink it to the dregs, al the wicked on earth wil drink it.
9 for in the hand of the Lord there is a cup of strong wine full of mixture. And he hath poured it out from this to that: but the dregs thereof are not emptied: all the sinners of the earth shall drink.	9 But I shal speak out for ever, shal make music for the God of Jacob.
10 But I will declare for ever: I will sing to the God of Jacob.	10 I shal break down al the strength of the wicked, and the strength of the upright will rise high.
11 And I will break all the horns of sinners: but the horns of the just shall be exalted.
