Psalms 75

DOUAI-RHEIMS	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Unto the end, corrupt not, a psalm of a canticle for Asaph.	1 Del maestro de coro «No destruyas». Salmo de Asaf. Canto.
2 We will praise thee, O God: we will praise, and we will call upon thy name. We will relate thy wondrous works:	2 Te damos gracias, oh Dios, te damos gracias; los que invocan tu Nombre narran tus maravillas.
3 when I shall take a time, I will judge justices.	3 «En el momento que yo decida, juzgaré con rectitud.
4 The earth is melted, and all that dwell therein: I have established the pillars thereof.	4 Se conmueve la tierra con todos sus habitantes, pero yo he afianzado sus columnas.
5 I said to the wicked: Do not act wickedly: and to the sinners: Lift not up the horn.	5 Digo a los arrogantes: "¡Basta de arrogancia!", y a los impíos: "¡No levanten la frente!",
6 Lift not up your horn on high: speak not iniquity against God.	6 no levanten la frente contra el cielo ni hablen con actitud insolente».
7 For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the desert hills:	7 Porque ni del oriente ni del occidente, ni del desierto ni de las montañas...
8 for God is the judge. One he putteth down, and another he lifteth up:	8 ¡Dios es el único Juez, que a unos humilla, y a otros exalta!
9 for in the hand of the Lord there is a cup of strong wine full of mixture. And he hath poured it out from this to that: but the dregs thereof are not emptied: all the sinners of the earth shall drink.	9 Hay una copa en la mano del Señor, con un vino espumante, lleno de aromas: la ofrece, y la sorben hasta el final, la beben todos los malvados de la tierra.
10 But I will declare for ever: I will sing to the God of Jacob.	10 Pero yo me alegraré para siempre, cantaré al Dios de Jacob:
11 And I will break all the horns of sinners: but the horns of the just shall be exalted.	11 él quebrará el poder de los malvados y acrecentará el poder de los justos.
