Nehemiah 7

1 Now after the wall was built, and I had set up the doors, and numbered the porters and singing men, and Levites:	1 Αφου δε το τειχος εκτισθη, και εστησα τας θυρας, και διωρισθησαν οι πυλωροι και οι ψαλτωδοι και οι Λευιται,
2 I commanded Hanani my brother, and Hananias ruler of the house of Jerusalem, (for he seemed as a sincere man, and one that feared God above the rest,)	2 προσεταξα περι της Ιερουσαλημ τον αδελφον μου Ανανι και τον Ανανιαν τον αρχοντα του φρουριου? διοτι ητο ως ανθρωπος πιστος και φοβουμενος τον Θεον, υπερ πολλους.
3 And I said to them: Let not the gates of Jerusalem be opened till the sun be hot. And while they were yet standing by, the gates were shut, and barred: and I set watchmen of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one by their courses, and every mall over against his house.	3 Και ειπα προς αυτους, Ας μη ανοιγωνται αι πυλαι της Ιερουσαλημ εωσου θερμανη ο ηλιος? και εκεινων ετι παροντων, να κλειωνται αι θυραι και να ασφαλιζωνται και φυλακαι να διοριζωνται εκ των κατοικων της Ιερουσαλημ, εκαστος εν τη φυλακη αυτου και εκαστος απεναντι της οικιας αυτου.
4 And the city was very wide and great, and the people few in the midst thereof, and the houses were not built.	4 Και η πολις ητο ευρυχωρος και μεγαλη, ο δε λαος ολιγος εν αυτη, και οικιαι δεν ησαν ωκοδομημεναι.
5 But God had put in my heart, and I assembled the princes and magistrates, and common people, to number them: and I found a book of the number of them who came up at first, and therein it was found written:	5 Και εβαλεν ο Θεος μου εν τη καρδια μου να συναξω τους προκριτους και τους προεστωτας και τον λαον, δια να αριθμηθωσι κατα γενεαλογιαν. Και ευρηκα βιβλιον της γενεαλογιας εκεινων, οιτινες ανεβησαν κατ' αρχας και ευρηκα γεγραμμενον εν αυτω.
6 These are the children of the province, who came up from the captivity of them that had been carried away, whom Nabuchodonosor the king of Babylon had carried away, and who returned into Judea, every one into his own city.	6 Ουτοι ειναι οι ανθρωποι της επαρχιας, οι αναβαντες εκ της αιχμαλωσιας, εκ των μετοικισθεντων, τους οποιους μετωκισε Ναβουχοδονοσορ ο βασιλευς της Βαβυλωνος, και επιστρεψαντες εις Ιερουσαλημ και εις την Ιουδαιαν, εκαστος εις την πολιν αυτου?
7 Who came with Zorobabel, Josue, Nehemias, Azarias, Raamias, Nahamani, Mardochai, Belsam, Mespharath, Begoia, Nahum, Baana. The number of the men of the people of Israel:	7 οι ελθοντες μετα Ζοροβαβελ, Ιησου, Νεεμια, Αζαρια, Ρααμια, Νααμανι, Μαροδοχαιου, Βιλσαν, Μισπερεθ, Βιγουαι, Νεουμ, Βαανα. Αριθμος των ανδρων του λαου Ισραηλ?
8 The children of Pharos, two thousand one hundred seventy-two.	8 υιοι Φαρως, δισχιλιοι εκατον εβδομηκοντα δυο.
9 The children of Sephatia, three hundred seventy-two.	9 Υιοι Σεφατια, τριακοσιοι εβδομηκοντα δυο.
10 The children of Area, six hundred fifty-two.	10 Υιοι Αραχ, εξακοσιοι πεντηκοντα δυο.
11 The children of Phahath Moab of the children of Josue and Joab, two thousand eight hundred eighteen.	11 Υιοι Φααθ-μωαβ, εκ των υιων Ιησου και Ιωαβ, δισχιλιοι και οκτακοσιοι δεκαοκτω.
12 The children of Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty-four.	12 Υιοι Ελαμ, χιλιοι διακοσιοι πεντηκοντα τεσσαρες.
13 The children of Zethua, eight hundred forty-five.	13 Υιοι Ζατθου, οκτακοσιοι τεσσαρακοντα πεντε.
14 The children of Zachai, seven hundred sixty.	14 Υιοι Ζακχαι, επτακοσιοι εξηκοντα.
15 The children of Bannui, six hundred forty-eight.	15 Υιοι Βιννουι, εξακοσιοι τεσσαρακοντα οκτω.
16 The children of Bebai, six hundred twenty-eight.	16 Υιοι Βηβαι, εξακοσιοι εικοσιοκτω.
17 The children of Azgad, two thousand three hundred twenty-two.	17 Υιοι Αζγαδ, δισχιλιοι τριακοσιοι εικοσιδυο.
18 The children of Adonicam, six hundred sixty-seven.	18 Υιοι Αδωνικαμ, εξακοσιοι εξηκοντα επτα.
19 The children of Beguai, two thousand sixty-seven.	19 Υιοι Βιγουαι, δισχιλιοι εξηκοντα επτα.
20 The children of Adin, six hundred fifty-five.	20 Υιοι Αδιν, εξακοσιοι πεντηκοντα πεντε.
21 The children of Ater, children of Hezechias, ninety-eight.	21 Υιοι Ατηρ εκ του Εζεκιου, ενενηκοντα οκτω.
22 The children of Hasem, three hundred twenty-eight.	22 Υιοι Ασουμ, τριακοσιοι εικοσιοκτω.

24 The children of Hareph, a hundred and twelve.	24 Υιοι Αριφ, εκατον δωδεκα.
25 The children of Gabaon, ninety-five.	25 Υιοι Γαβαων, ενενηκοντα πεντε.
26 The children of Bethlehem, and Netupha, a hundred eighty-eight.	26 Ανδρες Βηθλεεμ και Νετωφα, εκατον ογδοηκοντα οκτω.
27 The men of Anathoth, a hundred twenty-eight.	27 Ανδρες Αναθωθ, εκατον εικοσιοκτω.
28 The men of Bethazmoth, forty-two.	28 Ανδρες Βαιθ-ασμαβεθ, τεσσαρακοντα δυο.
29 The men of Cariathiarim, Cephira, end Beroth, seven hundred forty-three.	29 Ανδρες Κιριαθ-ιαρειμ, Χεφειρα, και Βηρωθ, επτακοσιοι τεσσαρακοντα τρεις.
30 The men of Rama and Geba, six hundred twenty-one.	30 Ανδρες Ραμα και Γαβαα, εξακοσιοι εικοσι και εις.
31 The men of Machmas, a hundred twenty-two.	31 Ανδρες Μιχμας, εκατον εικοσιδυο.
32 The men of Bethel and Hai, a hundred twenty-three.	32 Ανδρες Βαιθηλ, και Γαι, εκατον εικοσιτρεις.
33 The men of the other Nebo, fifty-two.	33 Ανδρες της αλλης Νεβω, πεντηκοντα δυο.
34 The men of the other Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty-four.	34 Υιοι του αλλου Ελαμ, χιλιοι διακοσιοι πεντηκοντα τεσσαρες.
35 The children of Harem, three hundred and twenty.	35 Υιοι Χαρημ, τριακοσιοι εικοσι.
36 The children of Jericho, three hundred forty-Ave.	36 Υιοι Ιεριχω, τριακοσιοι τεσσαρακοντα πεντε.

39 The priests: the children of Idaia in the house of Josue, nine hundred and seventy-three.	39 Οι ιερεις? υιοι Ιεδαια, εκ του οικου Ιησου, εννεακοσιοι εβδομηκοντα τρεις.
40 The children of Emmer, one thousand fifty-two.	40 Υιοι Ιμμηρ, χιλιοι πεντηκοντα δυο.
41 ,41The children of Phashur, one thousand two hundred forty-seven.	41 Υιοι Πασχωρ, χιλιοι διακοσιοι τεσσαρακοντα επτα.
42 The children of Arem, one thousand and seventeen. The Levites:	42 Υιοι Χαρημ, χιλιοι δεκαεπτα.
43 The children of Josue and Cedmihel, the sons	43 Οι Λευιται? υιοι Ιησου εκ του Καδμιηλ, εκ των υιων Ωδαυια, εβδομηκοντα τεσσαρες.
44 Of Oduia, seventy-four. The singing men:	44 Οι ψαλτωδοι? υιοι Ασαφ, εκατον τεσσαρακοντα οκτω.
45 The children of Asaph, a hundred forty-eight.	45 Οι πυλωροι? υιοι Σαλλουμ, υιοι Ατηρ, υιοι Ταλμων, υιοι Ακκουβ, υιοι Ατιτα, υιοι Σωβαι, εκατον τριακοντα οκτω.
46 The porters: the children of Sellum, the children of Ater, the children of Telmon, the children of Accub, the children of Hatita, the children of Sobai: a hundred thirty-eight.	46 Οι Νεθινειμ? υιοι Σιχα, υιοι Ασουφα, υιοι Ταββαωθ,
47 The Nathinites: the children of Soha, the children of Hasupha, the children of Tebbaoth,	47 υιοι Κηρως, υιοι Σιαα, υιοι Φαδων,
48 The children of Ceros, the children of Siaa, the children of Phadon, the children of Lebana, the children of Hagaba, the children of Selmai,	48 υιοι Λεβανα, υιοι Αγαβα, υιοι Σαλμαι,
49 The children of Hanan, the children of Geddel, the children of Gaher,	49 υιοι Αναν, υιοι Γιδδηλ, υιοι Γααρ,
50 The children of Raaia, the children of Rasin, the children of Necoda,	50 υιοι Ρεαια, υιοι Ρεσιν, υιοι Νεκωδα,
51 The children of Gezem, the children of Asa, the children of Phasea,	51 υιοι Γαζαμ, υιοι Ουζα, υιοι Φασεα,
52 The children of Besai, the children of Munim, the children of Nephussim,	52 υιοι Βησαι, υιοι Μεουνειμ, υιοι Ναφουσεσειμ,
53 The children of Bacbuc, the children of Hacupha, the children of Harhur,	53 υιοι Βακβουκ, υιοι Ακουφα, υιοι Αρουρ,
54 The children of Besloth, the children of Mahida, the children of Harsa,	54 υιοι Βασλιθ, υιοι Μειδα, υιοι Αρσα,
55 The children of Bercos, the children of Sisara, the children of Thema,	55 υιοι Βαρκως, υιοι Σισαρα, υιοι Θαμα,
56 The children of Nasia, the children of Hatipha,	56 υιοι Νεσια, υιοι Ατιφα.
57 The children of the servants of Solomon, the children of Sothai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Pharida,	57 Οι υιοι των δουλων του Σολομωντος? υιοι Σωται, υιοι Σωφερεθ, υιοι Φερειδα,
58 The children of Jahala, the children of Darcon, the children of Jeddel,	58 υιοι Ιααλα, υιοι Δαρκων, υιοι Γιδδηλ,
59 The children of Saphatia, the children of Hatil, the children of Phochereth, who was born of Sabaim, the son of Amon.	59 υιοι Σεφατια, υιοι Αττιλ, υιοι Φοχερεθ απο Σεβαιμ, υιοι Αμων.
60 All the Nathinites, and the children of the servants of Solomon, three hundred ninety-two.	60 Παντες οι Νεθινειμ, και οι υιοι των δουλων του Σολομωντος, ησαν τριακοσιοι ενενηκοντα δυο.
61 And these are they that came up from Telmela, Thelharsa, Cherub, Addon, and Emmer: and could not shew the house of their fathers, nor their seed, whether they were of Israel.	61 Ουτοι δε ησαν οι αναβαντες απο Θελ-μελαχ, Θελ-αρησα, Χερουβ, Αδδων, και Ιμμηρ? δεν ηδυναντο ομως να δειξωσι τον οικον της πατριας αυτων και το σπερμα αυτων, αν ησαν εκ του Ισραηλ?
62 The children of Dalaia, the children of Tobia, the children of Necoda, six hundred forty-two.	62 Υιοι Δαλαια, υιοι Τωβια, υιοι Νεκωδα, εξακοσιοι τεσσαρακοντα δυο.
63 And of the priests, the children of Habia, the children of Accos, the children of Berzellai, who took a wife of the daughters of Berzellai the Galaadite, and he was called by their name.	63 Και εκ των ιερεων? υιοι Αβαια, υιοι Ακκως, υιοι Βαρζελλαι, οστις ελαβε γυναικα εκ των θυγατερων Βαρζελλαι του Γαλααδιτου και ωνομασθη κατα το ονομα αυτων.
64 These sought their writing in the record, and found it not: and they were cast out of the priesthood.	64 Ουτοι εζητησαν την καταγραφην αυτων μεταξυ των απαριθμηθεντων κατα γενεαλογιαν, και δεν ευρεθη? οθεν εξεβληθησαν απο της ιερατειας.
65 And Athersatha said to them, that they should not eat of the holies of holies, until there stood up a priest learned and skilful.	65 Και ειπε προς αυτους ο Θιρσαθα, να μη φαγωσιν απο των αγιωτατων πραγματων, εωσου αναστηθη ιερευς μετα Ουριμ και Θουμμιμ.
66 All the multitude as it were one man, forty-two thousand three hundred sixty,	66 Πασα η συναξις ομου ησαν τεσσαρακοντα δυο χιλιαδες τριακοσιοι εξηκοντα,
67 Beside their menservants and womenservants, who were seven thousand three hundred thirty-seven: and among them singing men, and singing women, two hundred forty-five.	67 εκτος των δουλων αυτων και των θεραπαινιδων αυτων, οιτινες ησαν επτακισχιλιοι τριακοσιοι τριακοντα επτα? και πλην τουτων διακοσιοι τεσσαρακοντα πεντε ψαλτωδοι και ψαλτριαι.
68 Their horses, seven hundred thirtysix: their mules two hundred forty-five:	68 Οι ιπποι αυτων, επτακοσιοι τριακοντα εξ? αι ημιονοι αυτων, διακοσιαι τεσσαρακοντα πεντε?
69 Their camels, four hundred thirtyfive, their asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.	69 αι καμηλοι, τετρακοσιαι τριακοντα πεντε? αι ονοι, εξακισχιλιαι επτακοσιαι εικοσι.
70 And some of the heads of the families gave unto the work. Athersatha gave into the treasure a thousand drama of gold, fifty bowls, and five hundred and thirty garments for priests.	70 Και τινες εκ των αρχηγων των πατριων εδωκαν δια το εργον. Ο Θιρσαθα εδωκεν εις το θησαυροφυλακιον χιλιας δραχμας χρυσιου, πεντηκοντα φιαλας, πεντακοσιους τριακοντα ιερατικους χιτωνας.
71 And some of the heads of families gave to the treasure of the work, twenty thousand drama of gold, and two thousand two hundred pounds of silver.	71 Και τινες εκ των αρχηγων των πατριων εδωκαν εις το θησαυροφυλακιον του εργου εικοσι χιλιαδας δραχμας χρυσιου και δυο χιλιαδας διακοσιας μνας αργυριου.
72 And that which the rest of the people gave, was twenty thousand drama of gold, and two thousand pounds of silver, and sixty-seven garments for priests.	72 Και το δοθεν απο του επιλοιπου λαου ητο εικοσι χιλιαδες δραχμαι χρυσιου, και δισχιλιαι μναι αργυριου, και εξηκοντα επτα ιερατικοι χιτωνες.
73 And the priests, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singing men, and the rest of the common people, and the Nathinites, and all Israel dwelt in their cities.	73 Ουτως οι ιερεις και οι Λευιται και οι πυλωροι και οι ψαλτωδοι και μερος εκ του λαου και οι Νεθινειμ και πας ο Ισραηλ, κατωκησαν εν ταις πολεσιν αυτων. Και οτε εφθασεν ο εβδομος μην, οι υιοι Ισραηλ ησαν εν ταις πολεσιν αυτων.
