¹ De David. Te doy gracias, Señor, de todo corazón, te cantaré en presencia de los ángeles.	¹ [Of David] I thank you, Yahweh, with all my heart, for you have listened to the cry I uttered. In thepresence of angels I sing to you,
² Me postraré ante tu santo Templo, y daré gracias a tu Nombre por tu amor y tu fidelidad, porque tu promesa ha superado tu renombre.	² I bow down before your holy Temple. I praise your name for your faithful love and your constancy;your promises surpass even your fame.
³ Me respondiste cada vez que te invoqué y aumentaste la fuerza de mi alma.	³ You heard me on the day when I cal ed, and you gave new strength to my heart.
⁴ Que los reyes de la tierra te bendigan al oír las palabras de tu boca,	⁴ Al the kings of the earth give thanks to you, Yahweh, when they hear the promises you make;
⁵ y canten los designios del Señor, porque la gloria del Señor es grande.	⁵ they sing of Yahweh's ways, 'Great is the glory of Yahweh!'
⁶ El Señor está en las alturas, pero se fija en el humilde y reconoce al orgulloso desde lejos,	⁶ Sublime as he is, Yahweh looks on the humble, the proud he picks out from afar.
⁷ Si camino entre peligros, me conservas la vida, extiendes tu mano contra el furor de mi enemigo, y tu derecha me salva.	⁷ Though I live surrounded by trouble you give me life -- to my enemies' fury! You stretch out your righthand and save me,
⁸ El Señor lo hará todo por mí. Señor, tu amor es eterno, ¡no abandones la obra de tus manos!	⁸ Yahweh will do al things for me. Yahweh, your faithful love endures for ever, do not abandon what you have made.
