1 In fine, per quelli che saranno commutati, [David].	1 [For the choirmaster Of David Psalm Song] Let God arise, let his enemies scatter, let his opponentsflee before him.
2 Fammi salvo, Iddio; però che entrorono l'acque insino all' anima mia.	2 You disperse them like smoke; as wax melts in the presence of a fire, so the wicked melt at thepresence of God.
3 Son sommerso insino al luto del profondo; e non è sostanza. Per che nel profondo del mare sommersemi la tempesta.	3 The upright rejoice in the presence of God, delighted and crying out for joy.
4 M' affaticai gridando; sono fatto rauco; vennero a meno li occhii miei, sperando nell' Iddio mio.	4 Sing to God, play music to his name, build a road for the Rider of the Clouds, rejoice in Yahweh,dance before him.
5 Quelli che mi hanno odiato senza cagione sono moltiplicati sopra li capelli del mio capo. Gli miei nemici, che mi hanno perseguitato ingiustamente, sono confortati; allora rendeva quelle cose che non ho tolto.	5 Father of orphans, defender of widows, such is God in his holy dwel ing.
6 Tu sai, Iddio, la mia insipienza; da te non sono ascosti li miei delitti.	6 God gives the lonely a home to live in, leads prisoners out into prosperity, but rebels must live in thebare wastelands.
7 Non si vergognino in me quelli che te aspettano, Signore, Signore delle virtù. Quelli che ti chiedono, Iddio d' Israel, non si confonderanno sopra di me.	7 God, when you set out at the head of your people, when you strode over the desert,

11 E in digiuno io ho coperta l'anima mia; e a me è fatto in vituperio.	11 The Lord gave a command, the good news of a countless army.
12 E mi puosi il cilicio per vestimento; e a loro son fatto in proverbio.	12 The chieftains of the army are in flight, in flight, and the fair one at home is sharing out the spoils.

17 Esaudi me, Signore, per che benigna è la tua misericordia; e risguarda in me secondo la moltitudine delle tue miserazioni.	17 The chariots of God are thousand upon thousand; God has come from Sinai to the sanctuary.
18 E non rimuovere la faccia dal servo tuo; per che son tribulato, velocemente esaudi me.	18 You have climbed the heights, taken captives, you have taken men as tribute, even rebels thatYahweh God might have a dwelling-place.
19 Attendi all' anima mia, e liberala; per gli miei nemici libera me.	19 Blessed be the Lord day after day, he carries us along, God our Saviour.Pause
20 Tu sai il mio improperio, e la mia confusione, e la mia reverenza.	20 This God of ours is a God who saves; from Lord Yahweh comes escape from death;
21 Tutti che mi trìbulano sono nel tuo cospetto; il mio cuore ha aspettato l' improperio e la miseria. E aspettai chi meco si contristassero, e non furono; e non trovai chi me consolasse.	21 but God smashes the head of his enemies, the long-haired skul of the prowling criminal.

24 Accechinsi loro occhi acciò non vedano; e loro spalle sempre siano piegate.	24 Your processions, God, are for all to see, the processions of my God, of my king, to the sanctuary;
25 Spargi sopra loro l'ira tua; siano appresi dal furore della tua ira.	25 singers ahead, musicians behind, in the middle come girls, beating their drums.
26 La loro abitazione sia fatta deserta; e non vi sia chi abiti ne' loro tabernacoli.	26 In choirs they bless God, Yahweh, since the foundation of Israel.

33 Vedano li poveri, e rallegrinsi; cercate Iddio, e viverà l' anima vostra.	33 the Rider of the Heavens, the primeval heavens.Pause There he speaks, with a voice of power!
34 Perche (etiam) il Signore ha udito li poveri; e non ha guardato li suoi nemici.	34 Acknowledge the power of God. Over Israel his splendour, in the clouds his power.
35 Lodino quello li cieli e la terra, il mare e tutti loro rettili.	35 Awesome is God in his sanctuary. He, the God of Israel, gives strength and power to his people.Blessed be God.
36 Imperò [che] Dio farà salva Sion; ed edificheransi le città di Giuda. E ivi abiteranno, e acquisteranno quella per eredità.
37 Il seme de' suoi servi possederà quella; e in quella abiteranno quelli che amano il nome suo.
