1 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow on earth or sea or against any tree.	1 Después de esto vi cuatro ángeles de pie sobre los cuatro ángulos de la tierra que sujetaban a los cuatro vientos de la tierra para que ningún viento soplase sobre la tierra ni sobre el mar ni sobre ningún árbol.
2 Then I saw another angel ascend from the rising of the sun, with the seal of the living God, and he called with a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm earth and sea,	2 Vi después a otro ángel que subía del oriente llevando el sello del Dios vivo. Gritó con voz potente a los cuatro ángeles encargados de dañar a la tierra y al mar,
3 saying, "Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God upon their foreheads."	3 diciéndoles: «No dañéis a la tierra ni al mar ni a los árboles hasta que sellemos en la frente a los siervos de nuestro Dios».
4 And I heard the number of the sealed, a hundred and forty-four thousand sealed, out of every tribe of the sons of Israel,	4 Oí también el número de los sellados, ciento cuarenta y cuatro mil, de todas las tribus de Israel.
5 twelve thousand sealed out of the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand of the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand of the tribe of Gad,	5 De la tribu de Judá, doce mil sellados; de la tribu de Rubén, doce mil; de la tribu de Gad, doce mil;
6 twelve thousand of the tribe of Asher, twelve thousand of the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand of the tribe of Manasseh,	6 de la tribu de Aser, doce mil; de la tribu de Neftalí, doce mil; de la tribu de Manasés, doce mil;
7 twelve thousand of the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand of the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand of the tribe of Issachar,	7 de la tribu de Simeón, doce mil; de la tribu de Leví, doce mil; de la tribu de Isacar, doce mil;
8 twelve thousand of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve thousand of the tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand sealed out of the tribe of Benjamin.	8 de la tribu de Zabulón, doce mil; de la tribu de José, doce mil; de la tribu de Benjamín, doce mil sellados.
9 After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no man could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands,	9 Después de esto vi una muchedumbre inmensa, que nadie podría contar, de todas las naciones, razas, pueblos y lenguas, de pie delante del trono y delante del Cordero, vestidos con vestiduras blancas y con palmas en sus manos.
10 and crying out with a loud voice, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb!"	10 Y gritan con voz potente: «¡La victoria es de nuestro Dios, que está sentado en el trono, y del Cordero!».
11 And all the angels stood round the throne and round the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,	11 Y todos los ángeles que estaban de pie alrededor del trono y de los ancianos y de los cuatro vivientes cayeron rostro a tierra ante el trono, y adoraron a Dios,
12 saying, "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God for ever and ever! Amen."	12 diciendo: «Amén. La alabanza y la gloria y la sabiduría y la acción de gracias y el honor y el poder y la fuerza son de nuestro Dios, por los siglos de los siglos. Amén».
13 Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, "Who are these, clothed in white robes, and whence have they come?"	13 Y uno de los ancianos me dijo: «Estos que están vestidos con vestiduras blancas, ¿quiénes son y de dónde han venido?».
14 I said to him, "Sir, you know." And he said to me, "These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.	14 Yo le respondí: «Señor mío, tú lo sabrás». Él me respondió: «Estos son los que vienen de la gran tribulación: han lavado y blanqueado sus vestiduras en la sangre del Cordero.
15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night within his temple; and he who sits upon the throne will shelter them with his presence.	15 Por eso están ante el trono de Dios, dándole culto día y noche en su templo. El que se sienta en el trono acampará entre ellos.
16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; the sun shall not strike them, nor any scorching heat.	16 Ya no pasarán hambre ni sed, no les hará daño el sol ni el bochorno.
17 For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water; and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."	17 Porque el Cordero que está delante del trono los apacentará y los conducirá hacia fuentes de aguas vivas. Y Dios enjugará toda lágrima de sus ojos».
