Zechariah 6

1 And again I lifted my eyes and saw, and behold, four chariots came out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of bronze.	1 - Allora mi voltai e alzai gli occhi e osservai, ed ecco quattro cocchi uscire di mezzo alle due montagne e le montagne erano di bronzo;
2 The first chariot had red horses, the second black horses,	2 al primo cocchio erano cavalli rossi; al secondo cocchio cavalli neri;
3 the third white horses, and the fourth chariot dappled gray horses.	3 al terzo cocchio cavalli bianchi; e al quarto cocchio cavalli pezzati e forti.
4 Then I said to the angel who talked with me, "What are these, my lord?"	4 E presi a dire all'angelo che mi parlava: - Che sono tali cose, signore mio? -
5 And the angel answered me, "These are going forth to the four winds of heaven, after presenting themselves before the LORD of all the earth.	5 E l'angelo mi rispose e disse: - Questi sono i quattro vènti del cielo che escono per presentarsi dinanzi al Dominatore di tutta la terra. -
6 The chariot with the black horses goes toward the north country, the white ones go toward the west country, and the dappled ones go toward the south country."	6 Il cocchio dai cavalli neri usciva verso la terra di settentrione; e dietro uscirono i bianchi; e i pezzati uscirono verso i paesi del mezzodì;
7 When the steeds came out, they were impatient to get off and patrol the earth. And he said, "Go, patrol the earth." So they patrolled the earth.	7 e quelli che erano fortissimi uscirono e si accingevano per andare da tutte le quattro parti della terra. Ed egli disse: - Andate, scorrete la terra! - Ed essi scorsero la terra.
8 Then he cried to me, "Behold, those who go toward the north country have set my Spirit at rest in the north country."	8 Poi mi chiamò e mi parlò dicendo: - Ecco, quelli che escono verso il settentrione hanno dato riposo al mio spirito riguardo alla terra del settentrione. -
9 And the word of the LORD came to me:	9 E la parola del Signore mi fu comunicata dicendomi:
10 "Take from the exiles Heldai, Tobijah, and Jedaiah, who have arrived from Babylon; and go the same day to the house of Josiah, the son of Zephaniah.	10 - Prendi da quelli della trasmigrazione, da Oldai e da Tobia e da Idaia, quel giorno che ti recherai alla casa di Josia, figlio di Sofonia, dove sono venuti da Babilonia,
11 Take from them silver and gold, and make a crown, and set it upon the head of Joshua, the son of Jehozadak, the high priest;	11 prendi dunque l'oro e l'argento e ne farai corone e le metterai sul capo di Gesù, figlio di Josedec, sommo sacerdote;
12 and say to him, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Behold, the man whose name is the Branch: for he shall grow up in his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD.	12 e parlerai a lui e gli dirai: "Così dice il Signore degli eserciti: Ecco un uomo il cui nome è Oriente, dal di sotto spunterà, ed edificherà il tempio del Signore.
13 It is he who shall build the temple of the LORD, and shall bear royal honor, and shall sit and rule upon his throne. And there shall be a priest by his throne, and peaceful understanding shall be between them both."'	13 Egli edificherà il tempio al Signore e sarà rivestito della gloria e sederà, e dominerà sul suo seggio, e sarà sacerdote sul suo seggio, e fra quei due vi sarà intesa di pace". -
14 And the crown shall be in the temple of the LORD as a reminder to Heldai, Tobijah, Jedaiah, and Josiah the son of Zephaniah.	14 E le corone resteranno nel tempio del Signore per ricordo di Elem e di Tobia, di Idaia e di Em, figlio di Sofonia.
15 "And those who are far off shall come and help to build the temple of the LORD; and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you. And this shall come to pass, if you will diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God."	15 E verranno quelli dei paesi lontani e coopereranno all'edificazione del tempio del Signore, e voi conoscerete che il Signore degli eserciti mi ha mandato a voi. Ma questo avverrà se darete ascolto alla voce del Signore Dio nostro».
