1 Afterward he brought me to the gate, the gate facing east.	1 Depois conduziu-me ao pórtico oriental.
2 And behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the east; and the sound of his coming was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shone with his glory.	2 E eis que entrava a glória do Deus de Israel pelo lado do oriente, com um ruído semelhante ao ruído das grandes águas, e a terra estava resplandecente pela (presença da) sua glória.
3 And the vision I saw was like the vision which I had seen when he came to destroy the city, and like the vision which I had seen by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.	3 A visão que tive era semelhante à que tinha tido. quando vim para destruir a cidade, semelhante à que tinha tido junto do rio Cobar. Prostrei-me sobro o meu rosto.
4 As the glory of the LORD entered the temple by the gate facing east,	4 A glória do Senhor entrou no templo pela porta oriental,
5 the Spirit lifted me up, and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the glory of the LORD filled the temple.	5 O espírito arrebatou-me e introduziu-me no átrio interior. E eis que a casa estava cheia da glória do Senhor.
6 While the man was standing beside me, I heard one speaking to me out of the temple;	6 Então ouvi alguém que me falava de dentro da casa, enquanto o homem estava junto de mim.
7 and he said to me, "Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the people of Israel for ever. And the house of Israel shall no more defile my holy name, neither they, nor their kings, by their harlotry, and by the dead bodies of their kings,	7 Disse-me: Filho de homem, este é o lugar do meu trono, o lugar onde assentarei os meus pés, onde habitarei para sempre entre os filhos de Israel; os da casa de Israel não profanarão mais para o futuro o meu santo nome, nem eles, nem os seus reis. com as suas fornicações (ou idolatrias), com os cadáveres dos seus reis e com os seus lugares altos.
8 by setting their threshold by my threshold and their doorposts beside my doorposts, with only a wall between me and them. They have defiled my holy name by their abominations which they have committed, so I have consumed them in my anger.	8 Eles edificaram a sua porta junto da minha porta (ou templo), os postes da entrada da sua casa ao pé dos meus postes, de sorte que havia apenas um muro entre mim e eles; assim profanaram o meu santo nome pelas abominações que cometeram; por isso os consumi na minha ira.
9 Now let them put away their idolatry and the dead bodies of their kings far from me, and I will dwell in their midst for ever.	9 Agora, porém, deitarão para longe de mim as suas prostituições e os cadáveres dos seus reis, e eu habitarei sempre no meio deles.
10 "And you, son of man, describe to the house of Israel the temple and its appearance and plan, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities.	10 Tu filho de homem, mostra o templo à casa de Israel, pai-a que eles se confundam das suas iniquidades. Que meçam toda a sua fábrica.
11 And if they are ashamed of all that they have done, portray the temple, its arrangement, its exits and its entrances, and its whole form; and make known to them all its ordinances and all its laws; and write it down in their sight, so that they may observe and perform all its laws and all its ordinances.	11 Se se envergonharem de tudo o que fizeram, mostra-lhes a figura da casa (ou do templo), a sua disposição, as saídas e entradas do edifício, toda a sua traça, todos os preceitos acerca dela. toda a sua ordem e todas as suas leis; tudo isso porás, por escrito, diante dos seus olhos, a fim de que observem todas as indicações, todos os seus preceitos, e os cumpram.
12 This is the law of the temple: the whole territory round about upon the top of the mountain shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the temple.	12 Tal é a lei (ou norma) que se deve guardar na edificação da casa; Sobre o cume do monte, todo o espaço em roda é santíssimo. Tal é, pois, a lei da casa.
13 "These are the dimensions of the altar by cubits (the cubit being a cubit and a handbreadth): its base shall be one cubit high, and one cubit broad, with a rim of one span around its edge. And this shall be the height of the altar:	13 Eis as medidas do altar, em côvados (extraordinários que têm a medida) de um côvado (vulgar) e um palmo: a base era dum côvado de altura e dum côvado de largura; o seu rebordo, por todo o circuito, era de um palmo. Eis a altura do altar:
14 from the base on the ground to the lower ledge, two cubits, with a breadth of one cubit; and from the smaller ledge to the larger ledge, four cubits, with a breadth of one cubit;	14 desde a base que estava na terra até ao primeiro rebordo havia dois côvados (de altura), e um côvado de largura; e desde o rebordo mais pequeno até ao maior havia quatro côvados, e a sua largura era dum côvado.
15 and the altar hearth, four cubits; and from the altar hearth projecting upward, four horns, one cubit high.	15 A parte (do altar) reservada a cremação (das vitimas) tinha quatro côvados; daí para cima levantavam-se quatro hastes.
16 The altar hearth shall be square, twelve cubits long by twelve broad.	16 A parte reservada à cremação tinha doze côvados de comprido e doze côvados de largo, em quadrado.
17 The ledge also shall be square, fourteen cubits long by fourteen broad, with a rim around it half a cubit broad, and its base one cubit round about. The steps of the altar shall face east."	17 E a base era de catorze côvados de comprido e de catorze côvados de largo. O rebordo em roda dele era de meio côvado, a base era dum côvado em roda; os seus degraus estavam voltados para o oriente.
18 And he said to me, "Son of man, thus says the Lord GOD: These are the ordinances for the altar: On the day when it is erected for offering burnt offerings upon it and for throwing blood against it,	18 (O meu guia) disse-me: Filho de homem, assim fala o senhor Deus: Estas são as cerimônias que se devem observar a respeito do altar, quando for edificado, para que sobre ele se ofereça o holocausto e se derrame o sangue.
19 you shall give to the Levitical priests of the family of Zadok, who draw near to me to minister to me, says the Lord GOD, a bull for a sin offering.	19 Darás aos sacerdotes levfticos, que são da linhagem de Sadoc, que se aproximam de mim, diz o Senhor Deus. para me servir, um novilho para sacrifício pelo pecado.
20 And you shall take some of its blood, and put it on the four horns of the altar, and on the four corners of the ledge, and upon the rim round about; thus you shall cleanse the altar and make atonement for it.	20 Tomarás do seu sangue e pô-lo-ás sobre os quatro remates do altar, sobre os quatro cantos do quadro e sobre a cornija ao redor. Assim farás a purificação e a expiação.
21 You shall also take the bull of the sin offering, and it shall be burnt in the appointed place belonging to the temple, outside the sacred area.	21 Depois tomarás o novilho que tiver sido oferecido pelo pecado, o qual será queimado num lugar separado da casa fora do santuário.
22 And on the second day you shall offer a he-goat without blemish for a sin offering; and the altar shall be cleansed, as it was cleansed with the bull.	22 No segundo dia oferecerás pelo pecado um bode novo, sem defeito; purificar-se-á o altar, como se purificou com o novilho.
23 When you have finished cleansing it, you shall offer a bull without blemish and a ram from the flock without blemish.	23 Depois que tiveres acabado de o purificar, oferecerás um novilho, sem defeito, e um carneiro do rebanho, também sem defeito.
24 You shall present them before the LORD, and the priests shall sprinkle salt upon them and offer them up as a burnt offering to the LORD.	24 Oferecê-los-ás na presença do Senhor; os sacerdotes deitarão sal sobre eles e oferecê-los-ão em holocausto ao Senhor.
25 For seven days you shall provide daily a goat for a sin offering; also a bull and a ram from the flock, without blemish, shall be provided.	25 Durante sete dias, oferecerás cada dia um bode pelo pecado, e da mesma sorte será oferecido um novilho da manada e um carneiro do rebanho, sem defeito.
26 Seven days shall they make atonement for the altar and purify it, and so consecrate it.	26 Durante sete dias far-se-á a propiciação do altar, purificar-se-á e consagrar-se-á.
27 And when they have completed these days, then from the eighth day onward the priests shall offer upon the altar your burnt offerings and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, says the Lord GOD."	27 Passados os sete dias, ao oitavo dia e nos seguintes., os sacerdotes oferecerão sobre o altar os vossos holocaustos e os vossos sacrifícios pacíficos, e eu me reconciliarei convosco, diz o Senhor Deus.
