Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition NOVA VULGATA
1 And seven women shall take hold of one man in that day, saying, "We will eat our own bread and wear our own clothes, only let us be called by your name; take away our reproach."1 Et apprehendent septem mulieres
virum unum in die illa dicentes:
“ Panem nostrum comedemus
et vestimentis nostris operiemur,
tantummodo vocetur nomen tuum super nos:
aufer opprobrium nostrum ”.
2 In that day the branch of the LORD shall be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land shall be the pride and glory of the survivors of Israel.2 In die illa erit germen Domini in splendorem et gloriam,
et fructus terrae sublimis et exsultatio
his, qui salvati fuerint de Israel.
3 And he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy, every one who has been recorded for life in Jerusalem,3 Et erit: omnis, qui relictus fuerit in Sion,
et residuus in Ierusalem, sanctus vocabitur,
omnis, qui scriptus est ad vitam in Ierusalem.
4 when the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and cleansed the bloodstains of Jerusalem from its midst by a spirit of judgment and by a spirit of burning.4 Cum abluerit Dominus sordem filiarum Sion
et sanguinem Ierusalem laverit de medio eius
spiritu iudicii et spiritu ardoris,
5 Then the LORD will create over the whole site of Mount Zion and over her assemblies a cloud by day, and smoke and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory there will be a canopy and a pavilion.5 et creabit Dominus super omnem locum montis Sion
et super coetum eius
nubem per diem
et fumum et splendorem ignis flammantis in nocte:
super omnem enim gloriam protectio,
6 It will be for a shade by day from the heat, and for a refuge and a shelter from the storm and rain.6 et tabernaculum erit in umbraculum diei ab aestu
et in securitatem et absconsionem a turbine et a pluvia.
