1 A Psalm of the Sons of Korah. A Song. On the holy mount stands the city he founded;	1 Dei figli di Core. Salmo. Canto.Sui monti santi egli l’ha fondata;
2 the LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwelling places of Jacob.	2 il Signore ama le porte di Sionpiù di tutte le dimore di Giacobbe.
3 Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of God. [Selah]	3 Di te si dicono cose gloriose,città di Dio!
4 Among those who know me I mention Rahab and Babylon; behold, Philistia and Tyre, with Ethiopia-- "This one was born there," they say.	4 Iscriverò Raab e Babiloniafra quelli che mi riconoscono;ecco Filistea, Tiro ed Etiopia:là costui è nato.
5 And of Zion it shall be said, "This one and that one were born in her"; for the Most High himself will establish her.	5 Si dirà di Sion:«L’uno e l’altro in essa sono natie lui, l’Altissimo, la mantiene salda».
6 The LORD records as he registers the peoples, "This one was born there." [Selah]	6 Il Signore registrerà nel libro dei popoli:«Là costui è nato».
7 Singers and dancers alike say, "All my springs are in you."	7 E danzando canteranno:«Sono in te tutte le mie sorgenti».
