1 Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood; two cubits and a half was its length, a cubit and a half its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height.	1 Besaléel fit l’Arche en bois d’acacia: sa longueur était de deux coudées et demie, sa largeur d’une coudée et demie et sa hauteur d’une coudée et demie.
2 And he overlaid it with pure gold within and without, and made a molding of gold around it.	2 Il la recouvrit d’or pur, à l’extérieur et à l’intérieur, et il fit une guirlande d’or tout autour.
3 And he cast for it four rings of gold for its four corners, two rings on its one side and two rings on its other side.	3 Il fondit pour elle quatre anneaux d’or qu’il fixa aux quatre pieds, deux anneaux d’un côté, et deux anneaux de l’autre.
4 And he made poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold,	4 Il fit des barres en bois d’acacia, qu’il recouvrit d’or.
5 and put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark, to carry the ark.	5 Il passa les barres dans des anneaux, sur les côtés de l’Arche, pour pouvoir la porter.
6 And he made a mercy seat of pure gold; two cubits and a half was its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth.	6 Il fit l’Instrument de l’Expiation en or pur; sa longueur était de deux coudées et demie, sa largeur d’une coudée et demie.
7 And he made two cherubim of hammered gold; on the two ends of the mercy seat he made them,	7 Il fit deux chérubins en or martelé qu’il fixa aux deux extrémités de l’Instrument de l’Expiation.
8 one cherub on the one end, and one cherub on the other end; of one piece with the mercy seat he made the cherubim on its two ends.	8 Ainsi il y avait un chérubin à l’une des extrémités, et un chérubin à l’autre extrémité. Il plaça les chérubins aux extrémités de l’Instrument de l’Expiation.
9 The cherubim spread out their wings above, overshadowing the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces one to another; toward the mercy seat were the faces of the cherubim.	9 Les chérubins déployaient leurs ailes vers le haut: de leurs ailes ils couvraient l’Instrument de l’Expiation, et se faisaient face l’un à l’autre. La face des chérubins était tournée vers l’Instrument de l’Expiation.
10 He also made the table of acacia wood; two cubits was its length, a cubit its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height;	10 Il fit la table en bois d’acacia, sa longueur était de deux coudées, sa largeur d’une coudée, sa hauteur d’une coudée et demie.
11 and he overlaid it with pure gold, and made a molding of gold around it.	11 Il la recouvrit d’or pur et mit une guirlande d’or tout autour.
12 And he made around it a frame a handbreadth wide, and made a molding of gold around the frame.	12 Il fit également un encadrement de la largeur d’une main, avec une guirlande d’or tout autour.
13 He cast for it four rings of gold, and fastened the rings to the four corners at its four legs.	13 Pour la table il façonna quatre anneaux d’or et fixa les anneaux aux quatre coins, près des quatre pieds.
14 Close to the frame were the rings, as holders for the poles to carry the table.	14 Les anneaux étaient près de l’encadrement, ils recevaient les barres pour porter la table.
15 He made the poles of acacia wood to carry the table, and overlaid them with gold.	15 Il fit des barres en bois d’acacia qu’il recouvrit d’or, elles servaient à transporter la table.
16 And he made the vessels of pure gold which were to be upon the table, its plates and dishes for incense, and its bowls and flagons with which to pour libations.	16 Il fit tous les ustensiles que l’on devait poser sur la table: les plats, les écuelles, les tasses et les gobelets avec lesquels on présente les offrandes liquides. Tout cela, il le fit en or pur.
17 He also made the lampstand of pure gold. The base and the shaft of the lampstand were made of hammered work; its cups, its capitals, and its flowers were of one piece with it.	17 Il fit le chandelier en or pur, en or battu, avec son pied et sa tige, les coupes, les boutons et les fleurs: tout était d’une seule pièce.
18 And there were six branches going out of its sides, three branches of the lampstand out of one side of it and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side of it;	18 Six branches sortaient du chandelier, trois d’un côté et trois de l’autre.
19 three cups made like almonds, each with capital and flower, on one branch, and three cups made like almonds, each with capital and flower, on the other branch --so for the six branches going out of the lampstand.	19 Sur la première branche, il y avait trois coupes en fleur d’amandier, avec bouton et fleur; sur la seconde, trois coupes en fleur d’amandier, avec bouton et fleur; il en était de même pour les six autres branches sortant du chandelier.
20 And on the lampstand itself were four cups made like almonds, with their capitals and flowers,	20 La tige du chandelier portait quatre coupes en fleur d’amandier, avec bouton et fleur.
21 and a capital of one piece with it under each pair of the six branches going out of it.	21 Il y avait un bouton sous les deux premières branches du chandelier, un bouton sous les deux suivantes et un autre sous les deux dernières. Il en était ainsi pour les six branches sortant du chandelier.
22 Their capitals and their branches were of one piece with it; the whole of it was one piece of hammered work of pure gold.	22 Ces boutons et ces branches ne faisaient qu’un avec le chandelier, le tout était en or martelé, en or pur.
23 And he made its seven lamps and its snuffers and its trays of pure gold.	23 Il fit sept lampes avec leurs mouchettes et leurs cendriers, en or pur.
24 He made it and all its utensils of a talent of pure gold.	24 Pour faire le chandelier et tous ses accessoires, on utilisa près de 35 kilos d’or pur.
25 He made the altar of incense of acacia wood; its length was a cubit, and its breadth was a cubit; it was square, and two cubits was its height; its horns were of one piece with it.	25 Il fit l’autel des parfums en bois d’acacia, sa longueur était d’une coudée, sa largeur d’une coudée; il était carré et sa hauteur était de deux coudées. Les cornes de l’autel faisaient corps avec lui.
26 He overlaid it with pure gold, its top, and its sides round about, and its horns; and he made a molding of gold round about it,	26 Il le recouvrit d’or pur, sur le dessus et sur les côtés; les cornes et la guirlande qui l’entouraient étaient en or.
27 and made two rings of gold on it under its molding, on two opposite sides of it, as holders for the poles with which to carry it.	27 Il fit pour l’autel deux anneaux d’or au-dessous de la moulure sur les deux arêtes, il fit de même des deux côtés, pour recevoir les barres qui servaient à le transporter.
28 And he made the poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold.	28 Il fit les barres en bois d’acacia, recouvertes d’or.
29 He made the holy anointing oil also, and the pure fragrant incense, blended as by the perfumer.	29 Il fit l’huile pour la consécration et le parfum pour l’encensement, comme le font les parfumeurs.
